Hillary Clinton funding anti-Trump, pro-(illegal)-immigration protests (added)

Hillary Rodham Clinton, the 2016 presidential runner up, raised more than $1 million this week off an appeal critical of President Trump’s zero-tolerance policy at the U.S.-Mexico border and now she is giving it to pro-immigrant and pro-asylum groups protesting the president.

In an email, she also urged supporters to hold or attend protest rallies against Trump.

Why Did It Take Two Weeks To Discover Parkland Students’ Astroturfing?

The response was professionalized. That’s not surprising, because this is what organization that gets results actually looks like. It’s not a bunch of magical kids in somebody’s living room.

“Can you believe these kids?” It’s been a recurring theme of the coverage of the Parkland school shooting: the remarkable effectiveness of the high school students who created a gun control organization in the wake of the massacre. In seemingly no time, the magical kids had organized events ranging from a national march to a mass school walkout, and they’d brought in a million dollars in donations from Oprah Winfrey and George Clooney....

On February 28, BuzzFeed came out with the actual story: Rep. Debbie Wassermann Schultz aiding in the lobbying in Tallahassee, a teacher’s union organizing the buses that got the kids there, Michael Bloomberg’s groups and the Women’s March working on the upcoming March For Our Lives, MoveOn.org doing social media promotion and (potentially) march logistics, and training for student activists provided by federally funded Planned Parenthood.

The president of the American Federation of Teachers told BuzzFeed they’re also behind the national school walkout, which journalists had previously assured the public was the sole work of a teenager....

The real tip-off should have been the $500,000 donations from Winfrey and Clooney. Big celebrities don’t give huge money to strangers on a whim....

For two weeks, journalists abjectly failed in their jobs, which is to tell the public what’s going on....

Environmental group may have to register as foreign agents

...While the media remains largely focused on ongoing investigations into allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 campaign, the connection between Vladimir Putin’s government and U.S. environmental groups deserves more scrutiny.

Klein Ltd., a Bermuda-based shell corporation run by executives with strong ties to longtime Putin friend Leonid Reiman and Russian energy investment groups including Firebird New Russia Fund and Vimpelcom Ltd., reportedly funneled $23 million to the Sea Change Foundation, according to a detailed 2014 U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee report.

Klein’s legal counsel dismisses such charges as “completely false and irresponsible.” But in a letter addressed to U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, members of Congress document evidence pointing to a paperless money trail that flows from Russia into U.S. environmental groups through the Sea Change Foundation. The implication is that the Russians have been pouring tens of millions of dollars into willing environmental advocacy groups in an effort to spread propaganda directed against fracking in the U.S. and the technology that makes it possible, according to evidence presented in the letter....

Nothing says “organic” and “grassroots” like being partnered with MoveOn and CAP

The progressive left’s grudging admiration for the Tea Party is evidenced in their intense efforts to recreate our successes. I thoroughly enjoyed watching their various manifestations of “leftist Tea Parties” implode and sink into obscurity. From the “coffee party” and “no labels party” to Occupy and Black Lives Matter, the progressive left has tried again and again to manufacture its own Tea Party equivalent.

The irony, of course, is that their current efforts are transparently astroturfed, while ours had/has truly grassroots origins. Their first mistake is in believing their own press about us back in ’09 and ’10. Headline after headline bleated desolately and desperately that the Tea Party was “bogus astroturf,” that it was the brainchild of the Koch brothers and/or Rupert Murdock (and even Jim DeMint), that protesters were paid, that it was neither spontaneous nor grassroots, and on. And on.

Because they didn’t understand or believe that the Tea Party movement was very real, their attempts at recreating its power are focused first on outside organizers and massive funding rather than on tapping into something that will actually speak to a large enough base to inspire a true grassroots movement.

Their second problem is a lack of focus. Instead of focusing on one issue and clear messaging, the progressive left simply can’t pull its disparate demographic segments together....

Women's March Convicted Terrorist Agrees to Be Deported in Exchange for No Jail Time

Odeh is scheduled to appear in court April 25 in Detroit, where she plans to plead guilty to "unlawful procurement of naturalization" in a deal that will allow her to leave the United States to avoid up to 18 months in prison.
She had been scheduled to undergo another trial after a U.S. appeals court vacated her 2014 conviction, saying an expert witness should have been allowed to testify that she suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder from allegedly being tortured in prison when she gave the false answers.

The 69-year-old Palestinian activist was convicted in the 1969 supermarket bombing in Israel that killed two Hebrew University students.

NEW ANTI-TRUMP GROUPS BOW BEFORE SOROS...

...Any decision by the alliance to recommend financial backing for anti-Trump groups likely will spark conservative outcry.

In a recent Fox News interview, for instance, White House spokesman Sean Spicer called the liberal activism at sometimes rowdy congressional town halls a “very paid, Astroturf-type movement.” Trump himself tweeted that many of the “so-called angry crowds” confronting Republicans were “planned out by liberal activists.”...

Leaked Audio Reveals Anti-Trump Forces Manufacturing Hostile Town Hall

The audio, obtained by local radio station KPEL, reveals a coordinated effort to create the public impression that Cassidy’s support for Trump is unpopular with his constituents. The activists, who describe themselves as liberals in the audio, can be heard strategizing how to best turn a local town hall into a political victory....

The activists split up into an “inside team” — tasked with occupying “as many seats as we can” and an “outside team,” whose job was to “give [the media] the coverage they want” before joining the others inside. Activists were instructed to dress like conservatives and leave at home “any signifier that you’re a liberal” in order to blend in with constituents.

The leftist activists strategized how best to “dominate” the question-and-answer section of the town hall and keep anyone “sympathetic” to Cassidy from asking a question....

“Game plan number one is to fill as many seats as we can, right? If it’s all of us in there and the poor people of Breaux Bridge are sitting behind us, well then tough luck for them,” said one organizer, identified by KPEL as James Proctor. His “poor people” comment drew laughs from the other activists.

“If we can arrange it so he doesn’t hear one sympathetic question–great. That only magnifies our impact,” Proctor said....

What to Do About George Soros

...When it comes to the activities of George Soros, however, much is known. Soros is a man of the deep Left whose campaign to destabilize the U.S. is powerful and pervasive. Should he be allowed to operate freely, he will continue to wreak enormous damage, aided by a large constituency composed in part and at various removes of the individuals and groups he has subsidized. There is no doubt about the extent of his interference in domestic affairs. And there is no doubt that something needs to be done about it, certainly before his likeminded son Alex inherits his empire and persists in advancing the father’s regime-change and conflict-creation agenda....

Although the Schengen Agreement has proven disastrous for Europe, as terrorists and “fakefugees” (Selwyn Duke’s phrase) travel freely across its territory, Soros wants the same disintegrative effect to develop in the U.S. When he goes on to state that “the main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States,” his intention to sow discord and weaken the nation he detests is amply clear.

This is why he is so virulently antagonistic to Donald Trump, who wants to make America great again and disassemble Obama’s regulatory nightmare. (There is little question that Soros was behind the violent disruptions of Trump’s political rallies.) ...

Global Research, itself an anti-American site, has revealed the range of Soros’ machinations, using his fortune “to topple governments in Serbia, Georgia, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan. He ‘broke’ the British pound in 1992 costing the taxpayer billions for personal profit, was accused of wreaking havoc on the Malaysian ringgit, and was called an ‘economic war criminal’ in Thailand.” Some countries have decided they have had enough of Soros’ operations. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is moving to extrude Soros and “the forces symbolized by him” from the nation. A mass movement in Macedonia seeks to do the same....

Look Who Funds The Group Behind Riots in Berkeley

The left-wing group that helped organize the violent shut down of the Milo Yiannopoulos event at the University of California, Berkeley on Wednesday is backed by a progressive charity that is in turn funded by George Soros, the city of Tucson, a major labor union and several large companies.... on its Facebook page, the group asserted that the vandalism and arson were not “violence.” Instead, the group argued that Yiannopoulos and Trump perpetrate violence through the policies they support....

The organization did not mention the violent attacks against conservatives. One Trump backer was attacked with shovels by a group of men clad in black. He was shown laying unconscious in the middle of the street. A female Trump supporter was blasted with pepper spray while giving an on-camera interview.

Refuse Fascism’s involvement has spurred questions about who is behind the group. In a series of tweets on Thursday, Trump asserted that the protesters were paid to agitate.

While it is unclear whether those who carried out the violence were paid to do so, the benefactors of the Alliance for Global Justice — and Refuse Fascism — are listed online.

According to its most recent 990 tax form, Alliance for Global Justice (AfGJ) received $2.2 million in funding for the fiscal year ending in March 2016.

One of the group’s biggest donors is the Tides Foundation, a non-profit funded by billionaire progressive philanthropist George Soros. Tides gave AfGJ $50,000.

Social-media hysteria invents Trump scandals that fester, burn out, & float away in matter of hours. Sifting Through the Fake News on Trump’s Calls with Mexico and Australia

◼ RUSH: Sifting Through the Fake News on Trump’s Calls with Mexico and Australia

...How about the AP report that Trump threatened the president of Mexico? The AP reported that Trump called the president of Mexico and said, “Look, if you don’t take care of those bad hombres down there that you’ve got, we’re gonna send in the American military to do it.” The AP claimed that Trump told the Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto that if he didn’t take care of the bad hombres down there that we would send in the US military. The Washington Post and others in the Drive-Bys ran with the AP story....

Even the AP story, if you read deep enough down there, the article admitted that Mexico denied that version of events. It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter, ’cause the president of Mexico is not a credible source. He was on the call, but his sourcing is not credible if he doesn’t go along with the primary narrative of the story. The narrative is that Trump got on the phone, bullied the president of Mexico and threatened to send troops to get rid of bad hombres. The head honcho Mexico said, “No, no, no, didn’t happen,” but they say we can’t count on this guy as a source...

And then Australia. This is a big one. The first thing you have to understand, the current prime minister of Australia is practically a carbon copy clone of the new left-wing child socialist in Canada, what’s his name, Trudeau? Justin Trudeau. Yeah, the guy in Australia is a little older than Justin Trudeau, but he’s still a wacko leftist. And the Drive-By Media are having conniptions over Trump’s phone call to the Australian prime minister. His name is Malcolm Turnbull.
Now, in this call Trump supposedly denounced as dumb the deal that Obama had struck where the United States would trade some illegal aliens from Central America for the 1,200 refugees from Iran and Iraq and Afghanistan, refugees that Australia will not let into their country. What this is really all about is that there’s central American refugees and Australia won’t let ’em in.
Australia won’t let ’em in, they send them here, and Trump said to hell with that and even addressed this at the prayer breakfast today, telling people our country is under assault. There are people taking advantage of our country, and it’s gonna stop. And he said, “I don’t want you to be nervous what you hear about these calls.” And he’s talking about these two news reports about the phone calls he had with these two leaders in Australia and Mexico. And he was calming, he was comforting.... Read MORE at the link.
