OBAMA'S AMAZING THREAT TO BRITAIN...

But his threat provoked outrage and scorn from pro-Brexit campaigners, who dismissed it as yet another scaremongering ploy from the pro-EU lobby.

Mr Obama, who will no longer be in office when decisions on a trade deal are made, delivered a lecture to the British people on why he thinks it is in the UK’s, America’s and the world’s best interests for Britain to vote to stay in the EU on June 23.

Todd: Losing Europe Is ‘One Of The Potential Negative Legacies Of Obama’s’ Presidency

Chuck Todd warned that if America loses Europe, “the amplifier of American super power,” it will negatively affect Barack Obama’s legacy.

Appearing on “MSNBC Live” on Friday, the moderator of “Meet the Press” said that “one of the potential negative legacies of Obama’s eight years that whether it is on him or not, is if we lose Europe.”

“If we lose the ability of having Europe, it is the amplifier of American super power, of America’s super power. And if we lose Europe and you think about the migration, there’s a lot of ways we are losing Europe now,” Todd claimed.

Planned Parenthood Organ Sales Are ‘Pure Profit’

The U.S. House Select Panel on Infant Lives released a preview of its findings after a months-long review of internal documents obtained from the nation’s top abortionist, as well as organ procurement companies and buyers. The panel concluded that abortion clinics incur no additional costs in harvesting organs obtained from an already-aborted baby and that the sale or transfer of those organs represented “pure profit” for the clinic.

“The [abortion clinic] has no costs so the payments from the [procurement business] to the [abortion clinic] are pure profit,” the report concludes. “All costs are born by the [procurement business] or the customer. The payments from the customer to the PB exceed its cost by a factor of 300 to 400 percent.”

Pro-life activists said those practices run counter to federal law, which bars clinics from profiting off of the sale of baby body parts.

“The abortion industry sells baby hearts, livers, brains, hands and other organs procured by a middleman company inside their facilities at no cost or effort to the facilities themselves. The facility receives upfront fees that can amount to five-figure sums every month and then the procurement companies resell organs for tens of thousands more—depending on the child’s characteristics,” Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, said in a release. “The documents make clear there is absolutely no cost to the abortion clinic so that all monies received go to their bottom line.”

The scandal began after investigators with the pro-life Center for Medical Progress released a series of videos capturing top Planned Parenthood officials discussing the group’s fetal organ sales in the summer of 2015. One top official was caught on camera saying that clinics generate a “fair amount of income” from the sales.

...a researcher paid a middleman procurement company $3,340 for a fetal brain, $595 for a “baby skull matched to upper and lower limbs,” and $890 for “upper and lower limbs with hands and feet.”...

Two dozen companies commit to leaving California

Two dozen California companies have said they are tired of the business-bashing in Sacramento, along with the high taxes -- and they are now threatening to leave the state.

Nonprofit group (Ohio Citizen Action) is paying activists in Cleveland $80/day to disrupt the Republican National Convention in July.

What the ad says is revealing, but what it doesn’t say is perhaps more so.

Donors to the nonprofit get tax deductions, skeptics note. Is Ohio Citizen Action really the employer? Is it legitimate for a tax-exempt charity to use donations to protest and engage in political activism?

“Ohio Citizens Action is funded by the usual suspects from the world of radical left-wing philanthropy, people who want to tear America apart using crazy social engineering schemes and then try to glue the pieces back together,” said Matthew Vadum, senior vice president at Capital Research Center, a Washington-based nonprofit that tracks charity and philanthropy.

“The Joyce Foundation of Chicago is a particularly bad actor,” Vadum added, “which helps to explain why the radical now in the White House, Barack Obama, was drawn to it and used to be so active on its board of directors years ago.”

...Working America, an organization with close ties to the AFL-CIO, had an even better package until the ad expired.

The group’s Craigslist ad said those hired would start at $12.25 an hour for 90 days, then get bumped up to $15 an hour....

Ace Of Spades: ...Of course it wasn't conservatives who won the argument, or any argument about history, or the Constitution, or America that won the day --none of that has any voice in the leftist dominated, relentless-pursuit-of-the-trivial national discussion.

It was a dumb (in the sense it's not a terribly serious thing) Broadway musical employing hip-hop to tell Hamilton's life story that ignited the ADD attention of liberals and won the day.*

As Andrew Breitbart always said: Politics is downstream of culture.

And so Hamilton keeps his place, not due to any argument about his historical importance, but because of pure happenstance that at this particular moment the NY-DC-LA media axis had a brief enthusiasm for, get this, a lavish buzzworthy watercooler-factor entertainment spectacle.

Global warming lengthens the growing season and increases net rainfall worldwide. The enrichment of the atmospheric carbon dioxide accelerates the rate of plant growth. These are all very positive developments, both for humanity and for wild nature.

Donald Trump trounces rivals in New York

Federal agencies are increasingly using informal guidance documents, memoranda and blog posts to create rules and skirt the formal regulatory process, and Congress must stop them.

The federal government has no complete survey on the use of what CEI calls “regulatory dark matter.” The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) only reviewed 14 out of “thousands” of documents created by federal officials in 2014, CEI said.

But agencies are increasingly using these informal documents to create official regulations with consequences, like recent U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidance claiming landlords and home sellers who don’t rent or sell to convicted criminals are violating the Fair Housing Act.

These guidance documents are “purportedly not legally binding,” but they still “cajole and intimidate” people and businesses into complying with the agency, CEI said. Most new rules never reach the attention of the media or Congress....

“President Obama has been deservedly criticized for unilateral executive actions that are dreadnoughts of rule-without-congress,” CEI said. “But federal agency guidance documents, memoranda and other regulatory dark matter swell ominously, often out of sight.”

Obama Allots $19 Mil to Register Immigrant Voters

A year after President Obama launched his Task Force on New Americans the administration is injecting it with a $19 million infusion so it can achieve its key initiative of registering new voters that will likely support Democrats in the upcoming election. Officially, this is being described as enhancing pathways to naturalization by offering immigrants free citizenship instruction, English, U.S. history and civics courses. The cash is being distributed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Homeland Security agency that oversees lawful immigration, and the obvious goal is to register more immigrant voters because they tend to be Democrat.

Otherwise a Democrat commander-in-chief and his open-borders Domestic Policy Director wouldn’t be operating such a costly project....

On this day in 1906, an earthquake woke up residents of San Francisco. Little did they know that it was going to be one of the deadliest natural disasters in the history of the United States.

Remembering the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake - The Old Farmer’s Almanac.

Historically, residents always referred to the 1868 earthquake as “the big one.” When this earthquake came, it only lasted about 45 seconds, but it was estimated to have been between 7.8 and 8.3 on the Richter scale (which wasn’t invented until 1935).
