24 Days To The Election

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows Trump with 43% support to Clinton’s 41%. That’s unchanged from Oct 13.

Why do women's groups treat Bill Clinton and Donald Trump differently?

Groups that advocate for women’s rights are lashing out at Donald Trump for allegations of groping women and bragging about sexual assaults.

But some of those same groups did not think former President Bill Clinton’s allegations of sexual misconduct nearly two decades ago were disqualifying in the same way.

...At least three women – Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey – accused Clinton of unwanted sexual advances. Another five, including White House intern Monica Lewinsky, said they had had consensual affairs with him. Clinton was impeached on charges of lying about the Lewinsky affair before a grand jury and of obstruction of justice, but was acquitted and served his full presidential term.

Women’s groups largely stayed supportive.

“Feminists have, all along, muffled, disguised, excused and denied the worst aspects of the president’s behavior with women,” said a lengthy Vanity Fair article from 1998.

“Feminism sort of died in that period,” New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd told Yahoo recently. “Because the feminists had to come along with Bill Clinton’s retrogressive behavior with women in order to protect the progressive policies for women that Bill Clinton had as president.” ...

LENA EPSTEIN: "I'm Jewish. I'm a woman. I'm a millennial. And I'm incredibly proud to be a Republican supporting Donald Trump."

...For many of us around the country, the media culture has made coming out as a Trump supporter feel as nerve-wrenching as introducing yourself at a support group meeting, as if we have a problem instead of an opportunity.

Rather than focusing on what should matter in an election — the economy, borders and education — there has been too much focus on Trump's less than eloquent soundbites. Clearly, he's not the most "politically correct" person in the room. But I have supported Trump from the very beginning because, without question, I believe he is the best person for the job.

Donald Trump is the best person for our economy, to protect our borders, to improve our education system and to protect our children and our collective future.

Most importantly, he's the best person for action. That's the key: action. People seem to forget that. There's plenty of talk about everything except action....

Michelle Obama expressd how she fears for her daughters because of men like Trump who brag about sexual assault. Takes daughters to Jayz concert: Here's some of the lyrics

Donald Trump is the only hope to save America, so the media have gone to war to stop him.

They don't care about being exposed as lying, hypocritical swine -- I'd describe them more fully, but it would require locker room talk. They'll win the public back later. Right now, all that matters is stopping Trump.

The same media that are pretending to consider the use of a bad word equivalent to rape don't give a fig about real rape, real sexual assault, real whoring, even real homicide, depending on who did it.

JFK was an STD-infected drug addict who cavorted with whores at the White House, but the media ferociously hid all this from the public, publishing fairy-tale versions of his presidency as "Camelot.”

And what happened to the 11-year rule? Trump said the word "p*ssy" 11 years ago, in a secretly recorded conversation. Eleven years before Sen. Teddy Kennedy ran for president, he killed a girl -- but he ran, not only without apology, but, indeed, as the Conscience of the Democratic Party.

Throughout 2009, good, decent Americans who happened to oppose Obamacare were called the name of a gay sex act hundreds of times on TV -- and that was just on MSNBC. CNN's Anderson Cooper made the reference explicit when he giggled, "It's hard to talk when you're tea-bagging.”

Among the people using this sexual slur were distinguished members of Congress such as U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez and Rep. Barney Frank. Were they fit to hold office?

Going way, way, way back to a few weeks ago, the same media gasping in horror at "p*ssy" sure didn't mind my being called a c*nt repeatedly on a Comedy Central broadcast. And when I say "didn't mind," I mean they thought it was awesome.

But saying "p*ssy" 11 years ago is over the line.

Cut the crap, media.....

Emails show the Department of Justice coordinated with the Clinton campaign

Since when is telling the truth and exposing lies considered an underhanded, devious practice? That shows you how damn corrupt and twisted our political system has become. But if you turn on any of the networks they are beating the propaganda drum against Russia. This is downright dangerous

The lies about Russia are coming hot and heavy. The Clinton campaign insists that the leaks, which are coming from Julian Assange’s organization and not Russia, are the work of Vladimir Putin. Ok. Let’s see the proof. It should be very easy for the NSA to show the origins of these hacks. But that is not going to happen because the hacks are not part of a Russian Government effort to “interfere” in our election.

Since when is telling the truth and exposing lies considered an underhanded, devious practice? That shows you how damn corrupt and twisted our political system has become. But if you turn on any of the networks they are beating the propaganda drum against Russia. This is downright dangerous. A largely ignorant American electorate being fed lie after lie by a pliant media eager to serve a political establishment that is panicked over the possibility that Hillary could lose and Trump win.

Plotting to deceive

In emails from March 2015, Merrill suggested a strategy - ultimately nixed by Clinton herself - of having comedian Larry Wilmore and Bill Clinton joke during an event for the Clinton Global Initiative charity in Coral Gables, Florida, before having Clinton join them on stage.

Merrill laid out the scenario in emails to Podesta and other aides: “Wilmore could sit down with WJC and Chelsea and say something like ‘Thanks for having me here, it’s a pleasure. And I should tell you, I just emailed HRC (I hear she’s a big emailer), and asked if she’d join as well. (Laughter).’” He added that Hillary Clinton could then walk out “to applause.”

“It would be just light-hearted enough while giving her the opportunity to address this seriously, be a little conciliatory as discussed, and then get back to a discussion about CGI etc.,” Merrill wrote in the email.

In the end, Hillary Clinton’s team drafted talking points Clinton used at the news conference at the United Nations.

Clinton said she “fully complied with every rule that I was governed by” and that “there is no classified material” among her work-related emails.

Both of those statements were later proved false....

Clinton’s email practices were not the only controversy her campaign’s brain trust was addressing.

On October 2015, speechwriter Dan Schwerin circulated among top Clinton advisers a draft of her opening statement to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, to be delivered the following week.

The draft itself wasn’t attached in the emails published Tuesday, but other messages showed how it was shaped, including a section referring to Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, who was killed in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack.

“We might consider softening the ‘Chris did not believe retreat was an option - and neither do I’ line,” wrote Katherine Turner, a law partner of Clinton’s personal attorney David Kendall. “I don’t think we want to suggest that there was a commitment to be there at any and all costs.”

Following Clinton’s tense Oct. 22 testimony, Podesta proposed in an email that she could publicly joke, “I used to be obsessed with Donald Trump’s hair, that was until I got to spend 11 hours staring at the top of Trey Gowdy’s head,” a reference to the slicked-back white coif of the South Carolina Republican who chairs the committee.
