Trump Delivers Commencement Address At Liberty University

“As long as you have pride in your beliefs, courage in your convictions, and faith in your God, then you will not fail,” he said to applause. “And as long as America remains true to its values, loyal to its citizens, and devoted to its creators, then our best days are yet to come. I can promise you that.”

Computer Researcher Combats Global Cyber Crisis With $10 And Some Change

...A separate tech expert, Darien Huss of the cybersecurity company Proofpoint, aptly noticed that the ransomware’s web address, which included a series of random numbers and letters, ended with “gwea.com.”...

The British security researcher, known online as MalwareTech, investigated and found out that the corrupted online address was still available to buy....

“I saw it [gwea.com] wasn’t registered and thought, ‘I think I’ll have that,'” MalwareTech told The Daily Beast, who purchased it on NameCheap.com, a domain name registrar service.

MalwareTech decided to direct the malware and infected computer systems toward a “sinkhole” server, which gives out false information and renders computers incapable of accessing the correct site.

IT’S OVER: Wikileaks Nukes the Trump-Russia Story From Orbit, Leaves Only Planetary Debris

The real story is not the sci-fi thriller these crapweasels invented. It's that they coordinated with their legacy media counterparts to sell it like a long-running infomercial.

And that Democrats were willing to risk an international conflict with Russia to paper over their political loss.

Stephen Colbert’s role as the conservative newsman on the Comedy Central hit show, The Colbert Report, was a prime source of news for many millennials. It was also a chief avenue of propaganda for the Clintons years before Hillary ran for president.

Wikileaks revealed on Tuesday that Colbert and his team at Comedy Central were making episodes at the request or order of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) back in April of 2013.

Craig Minassian of the Clinton group e-mailed John Podesta, the close ally and future campaign manager for Hillary, to see if he saw a specific episode of the show that they pitched.

“I hope you got a chance to see the The Colbert Report’s two special episodes I had them do about CGI U that we taped in St. Louis this weekend,” Minassiansaid in the e-mail. “This is the link to last nights with a sketch about commitments and the monologue and WJC (Bill Clinton) interview aired Monday. Hope you enjoy and looking forward to your feedback. Next will be your Colbert appearance!”

Colbert was always very obviously liberal and supportive of Hillary throughout the election, but no one knew his team was doing her and Bill’s PR work at their order.

HAPPENING TODAY - We launch phase 1 of the campaign against the Car Tax hike - ending the Dems Super-Majority

A grassroots coalition led by former San Diego City Councilman and current KOGO radio host Carl DeMaio DeMaio and KFI radio hosts John and Ken is kicking off a massive voter signature collection effort this week as part of a campaign to roll back the recent Car and Gas Tax hike enacted by Sacramento politicians. (Event details below)

The campaign is using what it calls the “Gazelle Strategy” to stop the tax hikes because the campaign strategically targets weak state legislators who voted for the taxes to recall them one-by-one and coordinates grassroots activists and funding from around the state to be successful in each individual recall. The campaign is working in three stages:

  • Phase 1 – End Super-Majority: Recall from office State Senator Josh Newman (D) who cast the deciding vote for the tax hikes – a move that would end the Super-Majority of the Democrats to raise taxes.
  • Phase 2 – Roll Back the Taxes: Give the legislature 30 days to rescind the car and gas tax or file additional Recall Initiatives against 3-5 additional State Senators who are deemed vulnerable.
  • Phase 3 – Fix the Roads: Pass a state-wide ballot initiative in 2018 to impose accountability on transportation funds and fix roads without a tax hike.
  • Phase 1 of the campaign commenced today when the California Secretary of State formally informed the campaign that it could legally begin collecting the roughly 63,000 signatures it needs to recall Newman from office....

Comey's classy farewell: A president can fire an FBI director for any reason -- or no reason

Wednesday, May 10, 2017

Just watch the first minute or so, because it’s a lesson in how to herd a confused audience that’s been exposed to Dems slamming the FBI director for quite some and now doesn’t quite know what to think at this point.

Colbert gets audience to completely change opinion about Comey firing in a mere 60 seconds - Michelle Malkin

You might have heard of the movie “How to Train Your Dragon,” and this is “How to Train Your Studio Audience”:

Stephen Colbert Corrects Audience's Incorrect Thinking - The People's Cube

Last week we wanted him fired? So what! Last week’s truth is not The Current Truth™ .
Are they truly not aware of The Current Truth™ that Comey is a martyr in the face of Trump’s capitalist excess and counter-revolutionary dogmatism? That Comey is now a hero of the people? A true revolutionary?

Or is the audience filled with wreckers, kulaks, enemies, saboteurs, parasites, and Mondayists who are out to subvert the will of the people and humiliate the party?

Here come Trump’s judges: President to put forward more strong judicial nominees

Monday, according to Adam Liptak in the New York Times, Trump will announce 10 more judicial nominees to lower courts. The nominees make up an impressive list of highly respected jurists, attorneys and legal thinkers. Those of us who doubted Trump would take judicial nominations seriously may have some crow to eat. Especially when one looks at the names to be announced for appellate court vacancies, this is as strong a list of nominees as one could hope for....

Trump’s other appellate nominees are equally impressive: attorneys Kevin Newsom for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, John Bush for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and perhaps most notably Notre Dame law professor Amy Coney Barrett for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

Newsom clerked for Supreme Court Justice David Souter, served as the solicitor general of Alabama and wrote a well-regarded article for the Yale Law Journal, “Setting Incorporationism Straight: A Reinterpretation of the Slaughter-House Cases.”

Barrett clerked for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, served for six years on the Advisory Committee for the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure and has an impressive scholarly record.

Bush is an accomplished litigator and president of the Louisville Lawyers’ Chapter of the Federalist Society. He served on the Sixth Circuit’s Advisory Committee on Rules from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to the appellate nominees noted above, Trump is poised to nominate Damien Schiff of the Pacific Legal Foundation to the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Among other things, Schiff successfully argued Sackett v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency before the U.S. Supreme Court. Trump will also name several district court nominees....

Global Fatcats Urge More Carbon Pricing, Climate Policy Continuity

Can your family afford an extra $10,000 in taxes?

Under a single-payer system, health care would be financed through taxing people to support a government-run program rather than through having them or their employers pay for private health insurance coverage. Doing that would require a massive tax increase on California families along with huge pay cuts for nurses, doctors and other health care professionals. And, it would spell the end of the employer-sponsored insurance that half the state relies on and values.
