In the last week-and-a-half, seven more states have signed on, bringing the total to 24, suing to STOP Obama's amnesty

Oh, Mr. President? That lawsuit isn't going away..... - Herman Cain

The President's legal troubles are getting worse....

Earlier this month we talked about a lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General and Governor-elect Greg Abbott. The suit seeks to stop Obama's amnesty actions before they're implemented. At the time, 17 states had joined the suit, as the Chicago Tribune reported:
A coalition of 17 U.S. states sued the Obama administration on Wednesday saying it acted illegally by issuing an executive order to ease the threat of deportation for millions of immigrants who are in the country without the proper documents.

The case being led by Texas and filed at the Federal Court in the Southern District of Texas said the executive order announced by Obama last month violated constitutional limits on presidential powers. Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, a Republican and the Texas governor-elect, said the lawsuit is not asking for monetary damages but is seeking to have the order declared illegal.
The new states are:
Arizona
Arkansas
Florida
Michigan
North Dakota
Ohio
Oklahoma
Want more good news? A judge has been assigned to the case, and he's not what you'd call "friendly" toward Obama's goals. He's U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen and, as Townhall reports, he's been highly critical of the Administration’s immigration plans before.... KEEP READING

HHS Finds TWO Enrollees for Ads... - Washington Free Beacon

...A second HHS video features Daniel McNaughton, who was the only person able to sign up for health insurance during Obamacare’s first week, according to the Orlando Sentinel....According to his Facebook page, McNaughton is a member of “Lee County Florida for Obama,” and he “likes” the Department of Health and Human Services, and Healthcare.gov. He also worked as a Legislative Intern to Democratic State Senator Dave Aronberg in Florida, according to his Linkedin page....

McNaughton is one of the few Floridians who have successfully signed up for Obamacare. The Miami Herald calls enrollees “urban legends.”

Feds instruct BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHIELD not to reveal sign-up numbers... - INFORUM

Still, a spokeswoman from Blue Cross Blue Shield says about 14 North Dakotans have signed up for coverage since the federal exchange went live Oct. 1. That brings total statewide enrollment to 20 – less than one a day.

In a bombshell revelation, a consumer sales manager for North Dakota’s largest health insurer said Monday that the Obama Administration asked Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota to hide how many people registered for health insurance through an online exchange that just went up. - William Bigelow/Breitbart

NEW: CA job growth vs. ND job growth: Bring on fracking!

Let’s trade governors with North Dakota - Chris Reed/Cal Watchdog

Greens were doing some chest-thumping this week after a new study came out that said California led the nation in 2012 in creation of green jobs.
“Environmental Entrepreneurs tracks the creation of green jobs on a monthly basis. The 2012 wrap-up found firms announced the creation of 110,000 green jobs last year. About 26,000 of those jobs were in California.”
But that’s a puny number by almost any objective standard....

Meanwhile, let’s look at the employment numbers in North Dakota, where leaders emphasize brown jobs — created by the fracking boom — not subsidized, corporate crony green jobs. From 2010 to 2012, this tiny little state went from 370,000 employed residents to 421,000 employed residents — a stunning 14 percent increase with few parallels in recent U.S. history. Equivalent growth in the California workforce would mean 2 million new jobs....

Consider that California easily could be the Saudi Arabia of the First World, but that the majority party that controls the state thinks this is a bad thing.

SUPER CHOOSEDAY...

RESULTS: TONIGHT
Dividing the spoils: Santorum takes Tenn. and Okla.; Romney wins 3 states and Gingrich captures Georgia - Washington Post via Drudge
As polls closed on Super Tuesday, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich were dividing up Republican primary votes around the nation, with each winning important states , but the key battleground of Ohio remained too close to call.

Romney won Republican presidential primaries in Virginia, Vermont and Massachusetts, the state he served as governor, while Santorum snagged an important victory in Tennessee and also won Oklahoma. Gingrich boosted his struggling campaign with a victory in his home state of Georgia.

In Ohio, Romney was battling Santorum, a former senator from Pennsylvania who has emerged as his chief rival in the tumultuous Republican presidential primary fight. The contest remained too close to call. Official results have not come in from North Dakota, where caucuses ended at 8 p.m. Eastern time....

In all, more than 400 delegates will be awarded Tuesday, more than the combined total of all 12 states that have voted so far. That won’t be enough to give any of the candidates the nomination, but Super Tuesday could still be super enough to reshape the primary season.
SANTORUM WIN OK, TN... - New York Times
Mr. Romney did less well than usual with some of his of the groups that have provided him the most supporters in the past. While Mr. Santorum won less-educated voters, he essentially tied Mr. Romney among the better educated, which has not been the usual pattern.

Mr. Santorum did well among strong Tea Party supporters, but he he also did well among those less supportive of the Tea Party movement.

Like the voters in other states, 4 in 10 Tennessee voters said Mr. Romney was most likely to defeat Mr. Obama in November.
