Hillary Clinton attempted to solicit a $12 million donation to the @ClintonFdn from the Moroccan government...







One revelation from the WikiLeaks trove of John Podesta’s e-mails stands out as more serious than all the others: Hillary Clinton attempted to solicit a $12 million donation to the Clinton Foundation from the Moroccan government, agreeing to a personal appearance in exchange for the money, against her own staff’s objections before backing out at the last minute.

The discovery that Clinton, between her time as secretary of state and as a presidential candidate, asked for a ten-figure sum from an overseas government in exchange for a personal appearance is more than troubling: It’s so vivid a demonstration of her moral blindness that it almost makes WikiLeaks look like the hero in this story.

A lot of what we’ve learned from the Podesta e-mails confirmed everyone’s worst suspicions about the clubbiness and cattiness of political and media elites. But it’s merely embarrassing, rather than illegal, for Neera Tanden to write that Hillary Clinton’s “instincts can be terrible” or for Politico’s Glenn Thrush to admit to Podesta that “I have become a hack.”

Clinton soliciting large sums from a foreign government to her personal foundation right before she runs for president is something else entirely: It looks a lot like a future commander-in-chief asking for a bribe, which is why so many Clinton campaign staffers objected to it loudly, early, and often....

New York Post reveals how Al Sharpton shakes down corporations for MILLIONS

◼ Ever wonder just how it is that Al Sharpton and other race-baiters are able to make money off their race-mongering? Well wonder no more because the New York Post has cast aside the curtain of secrecy and revealed how he does it - The Right Scoop

You have to ask what’s more nauseating? Al Sharpton’s threats to cry “racism” at corporations who don’t ante up or the corporations themselves who meekly acquiesce to the Reverend’s bullying tactics?

This is a report well worth reading because some of it beggars the imagination. A Connecticut hedge firm group, Plainfield Asset Management, is on record as having ponied up $600,000 in two separate payments (funneled through another non-profit group) to Sharpton’s group while trying to curry favor with him during tricky government negotiations, or at least to avoid attracting fire from him. His group apparently had also been pestering General Motors for donations for many years without success. Then Al decided to protest GM in front of a dealership they were closing and suddenly the payments began. He pulled a similar move with American Honda in 2003, and also landed a $25K per year “consulting” gig with Pepsi after he threatened them with a boycott which mysteriously never happened after the checks started coming in.

One of the strangest tales in the article, however, deals with Sony Entertainment and the same woman made famous in recent stories about their leaked emails, Amy Pascal....

Holder’s Bank of America Heist Funds Left’s Community-Organizer Shock Troops

IBD reminds us that similar funding for Democrat activists has been written into the $20 billion in settlements for which JPMorgan Chase and Citibank were shaken down. This is massive fraud and extortion. Radical Democrat activist groups stand to collect millions from Attorney General Eric Holder’s record $17 billion deal to settle alleged mortgage abuse charges against Bank of America.

Buried in the fine print of the deal, which includes $7 billion in soft-dollar consumer relief, are a raft of political payoffs to Obama constituency groups. In effect, the government has ordered the nation’s largest bank to create a massive slush fund for Democrat special interests.

Besides requiring billions in debt forgiveness payments to delinquent borrowers in Cleveland, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Oakland, Detroit, Chicago and other Democrat strongholds — and up to $500 million to cover personal taxes owed on those checks — the deal requires BofA to make billions in new loans, while also building affordable low-income rental housing in those areas.

If there are leftover funds in four years, the settlement stipulates the money will go to Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Account (IOLTA), which provides legal aid for the poor and supports left-wing causes, and NeighborWorks of America, which provides affordable housing and funds a national network of left-wing community organizers operating in the mold of Acorn.

Author Peter Schweizer was on Hannity, Tuesday night to talk about his explosive new book Extortion.

He talked about the mind-blowing corruption and political extortion that is rampant in DC, these days on both sides of the aisle but noting that it comes from the top.
