After 27 Years at CNN, News Host Who Meddled in the 2012 Elections to Protect Obama is Out of a Job

Candy Crowley is out at CNN - IJ Review

After the 2012 Presidential Debate she moderated between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, the State of the Union host was roundly criticized for seeming to take sides. When Romney questioned Obama’s claim that he had called Benghazi an act of terror in a Rose Garden ceremony the day after the attack, as opposed to blaming it on a spontaneous demonstration, Crowley said, “He did, in fact.”

Later, Crowley told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that Romney “was right in the main. I just think he picked the wrong word.”

...A replacement has not been named, though The Wrap mentioned Jake Tapper and John King as strong contenders. Tapper would be an interesting pick, as he is one of the few traditional media journalists whom conservatives respect.

'Sorry, Candy, Whoa!' Benjamin Netanyahu Vigorously Schools Candy Crowley - Newsbusters

That was the sound of Candy Crowley about to be vigorously schooled by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on CNN's State of the Union. As if he were a teacher attempting to straighten out an errant student with the facts, Netayahu added, " No, Candy. No, no. I'm sorry. I heard that. I hear people write that up, but, in fact, it's the very opposite." Chastened student Crowley finally corrected corrected herself. If only more guests on her show were as strenuous in correcting Crowley.

Rand Paul Shows How It's Done: Laughs At "War On Women"

The whole thing of the 'war on women,' I sort of laughingly say, 'Yeah, there might have been – but the women are winning it' = Political Outcast

Then there was Paul’s interview on Meet the Press:

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky Sunday called former President Bill Clinton "predatory" for his 1996-1997 liaison with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

Paul, a potential 2016 GOP presidential nominee, also said that the Democrats' argument that Republicans are waging a "War on Women" by opposing coverage for birth control in Obamacare and by opposing abortion is undercut by the memory of Bill Clinton as a sexual predator.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul talks about Hillary Clinton's potential 2016 run for president and whether her husband's transgressions will impact the race.

"One of the workplace laws and rules that I think are good is that bosses should not prey on young interns in their office. And I think really the media seems to have given President Clinton a pass on this. He took advantage of a girl that was 20 years old and an intern in his office. There is no excuse for that, and that is predatory behavior..... Then they (Democrats) have the gall to stand up and say, 'Republicans are having a war on women.' "

The Mother of All Scandals

IRS? AP? NSA? Benghazi? - Victor Davis Hanson/PJM

There were absolutely no professional consequences for publicly lying — to the nation, to television audiences, to the relatives of the deceased, to the United Nations — that the Nakoula video was the cause of the deaths of our Benghazi personnel. Barack Obama was reelected. Hillary “what difference does it make” Clinton retired from the secretary of State post to congratulations and media frenzy about her likely 2016 presidential campaign. Susan Rice was promoted to National Security advisor.

There is almost no one left at his 2012 post. In addition to the above, General Carter Ham, in charge of Africa Command, has retired. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has retired. CIA Director David Petraeus has resigned.

How did it happen that just nine months after the attack, most all of the relevant decision-makers — Clinton, Ham, Panetta, Petraeus, Rice — have vanished from their jobs?

...A False Campaign?

The election of 2012 may well have been altered by the Benghazi cover-up, in ways that transcend debate moderator Candy Crowley’s puerile and unprofessional efforts to shield Obama from Romney’s questioning about the deaths. Imagine the fallout on voters had we been told from the very beginning that an al-Qaeda affiliate had stormed our consulate — ill-prepared and unable to obtain needed beefed-up security, reliant for safety on local suspect tribal militias, in a country that had deteriorated into a failed society after our Libyan bombing — and slaughtered four Americans, apparently stationed in Benghazi to help in some way a covert CIA operation.

So here we have it: a beleaguered “consulate” that was refused additional security and relied on local militias, apparently due to administration worry over destroying an Obama campaign narrative of a reborn Libya and dying al-Qaeda. A CIA operation of some sort supplied something to someone, but what and why and to whom, we are not supposed to know. Four Americans, the very best the country had to offer, are dead, denied assistance when assistance could have saved them — the why and the how and the when of it all we are not told. We fear it might have been a crackpot cost-benefit analysis: four lives versus another Mogadishu and an Obama November defeat.

We know only that the dead were far more heroic than the leaders who chose not to aid them.

This track record seriously calls into question her motivations for coming to Obama's support during the October 16 debate.

CNN'S CROWLEY ADMITS OBAMA DIDN'T CALL BENGHAZI A TERROR ATTACK - Warner Todd Huston/Breitbart

Now, it seems that Crowley is back to asserting that Obama took weeks to call the attack on our facilities in Benghazi, Libya an act of terror. This track record seriously calls into question her motivations for coming to Obama's support during the October 16 debate.
