MLB had the “highest net favorability rating among Republicans of the four major sports leagues before the All-Star Game decision

...The league claims the surveys are for are to try trying to “gain knowledge about fan perceptions, preferences, and behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic.” Of course, according to a recent poll done by Morning Consult, it was found, their favorability levels have completely collapsed within the Republican base.... For pro-sport Republicans, rating collapsed 35 percent, down from 47 percent to 12 percent in only a month. The poll showed the MLB used to have the “highest net favorability rating among Republicans of the four major sports leagues before the All-Star Game decision,” Morning Consult noted.

(T)he ACLU is no longer a neutral defender of everyone's civil liberties; it has morphed into a hyper-partisan, hard-left political advocacy group



The director of the American Civil Liberties Union has now acknowledged what should have been obvious to everybody over the past several years: that the ACLU is no longer a neutral defender of everyone's civil liberties; it has morphed into a hyper-partisan, hard-left political advocacy group. The final nail in its coffin was the announcement that for the first time in its history the ACLU would become involved in partisan electoral politics, supporting candidates, referenda and other agenda-driven political goals.

The headline in the June 8, 2018 edition of The New Yorker tells it all: "The ACLU is getting involved in elections – and reinventing itself for the Trump Era." The article continues:

"In this midterm year, however, as progressive groups have mushroomed and grown more active, and as liberal billionaires such as Howard Schultz and Tom Steyer have begun to imagine themselves as political heroes and eye Presidential runs, the A.C.L.U., itself newly flush, has begun to move in step with the times. For the first time in its history, the A.C.L.U. is taking an active role in elections. The group has plans to spend more than twenty-five million dollars on races and ballot initiatives by Election Day, in November."

Since its establishment nearly 100 years ago, the ACLU has been, in the words of The New Yorker, "Fastidiously nonpartisan, so prudish about any alliance with any political power that its leadership, in the 1980's and 90's, declined even to give awards to likeminded legislators for fear that it might give the wrong impression." ...

The Democratic Party has taken for granted that it owns racial, sexual, and religious minorities in America. It has encouraged groupthink, hypocrisy, division, stereotyping, resentment, and the acceptance of victimhood mentality. And all the while, they have discouraged minorities from having independent thought, open dialogue, measured and informed opinion, and a motivation to succeed.

FACEBOOK, AMAZON, GOOGLE AND TWITTER ALL WORK WITH LEFT-WING HATE-GROUP



...Amazon grants the SPLC that power “because we don’t want to be biased whatsoever,” said the spokeswoman, who could not say whether Amazon considers the SPLC to be unbiased.

The Smile program allows customers to identify a charity to receive 0.5 percent of the proceeds from their purchases on Amazon. Customers have given more than $8 million to charities through the program since 2013, according to Amazon.

Only one participant in the program, the SPLC, gets to determine which other groups are allowed to join it.

Christian legal groups like the Alliance Defending Freedom — which recently successfully represented a Christian baker at the Supreme Court — are barred from the Amazon Smile program, while openly anti-Semitic groups remain, TheDCNF found in May.

One month later, the anti-Semitic groups — but not the Alliance Defending Freedom — are still able to participate in the program....

Members of Congress grilled CEO Mark Zuckerberg this week over the company’s data privacy issues and also for the network’s alleged bias against conservatives.

During one of the hearings, Zuckerberg said combating election interference was one of his top priorities this year and that he has more confidence that Facebook’s going to “get this right this year.”

So what exactly does Mark Zuckerberg mean by right? He means the public was wrong when it chose Trump in 2016, that Trump supporters should be punished, and that Zuckerberg will do everything in his power to prevent politically incorrect election choices from happening again. That’s what he means....

Opinion: Gorsuch pick is Trump's best decision yet







President Trump has chosen Neil Gorsuch, a judge on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, to fill the long-vacant Supreme Court seat left by the late Justice Antonin Scalia. The decision is already earning Trump high marks among many constitutional conservatives, including from numerous politicians and members of the media who have long questioned Trump's commitment to conservative ideals.

Erick Erickson, a longtime critic of Trump, says in an article posted on his political commentary site the Resurgent, "Judge Gorsuch is the one nominee who matches Antonin Scalia's intellectual pedigree and will unite all the factions within the Republican Party. This is a very wise move by President Trump. Even his most ardent critics on the right will have to commend President Trump for this nomination. It is rock solid."
