Eureka Fourth of July Festival and Fireworks
Five city blocks packed with more than 100 vendors, live music on two stages, classic cars, kids' activities and firetrucks. The fireworks display starts over the bay at 10 p.m.

Arcata Fourth of July Jubilee - NCJ
More than 60 arts and crafts booths, music, food and a kids' zone, featuring games, crafts and face painting. Samba Quente performs at noon. Arcata Plaza
Arcata: Humboldt Crabs Baseball
12:30 p.m., Arcata Ball Park Ninth and F streets, Arcata $8 adults, $6 students and seniors, $4 kids under 12
Ferndale Main Street - NCJ
Fire engine rides are from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by the parade. After the parade, enjoy a picnic and the Broadway Americana musical revue. The fairgrounds open at 7 p.m. for fireworks at dark.
Benbow Fireworks - NCJ
The annual fireworks display with plenty of oohs and ahhs. $8 day-use fee
