Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal delivered a blistering attack on President Obama, saying that he believed the President showed the same thinking as the Occupy Wall Street movement.

◼ Breitbart reports: In a statement to Breitbart News, Gov. Jindal echoed his remarks in the speech, saying:

I think this election is about two different views of America’s future and the President’s view--where he talks about class warfare and dividing us--to me, sounds a lot like Occupy Wall Street, where people believe they are entitled to each other’s property. I think the American Dream is different from that. I think in America, you’re not entitled to equal outcomes. You are entitled to equal opportunity. And that is what I think this election is really about, to preserve that American Dream for our children, and the way to do that is not through more government spending, more taxes, more borrowing. Instead, it’s about going back to a limited federal government that lives within its means.

Holder to be Slapped With Fast and Furious Lawsuit During August Recess

"We'll be filing a civil case during the break," Issa told NBC, "We will expect a day in court before a federal judge, which we have a 100 percent chance that the judge will hold that these documents should be delivered."

The lawsuit will be reviewed by a judge who will assess whether Holder has an obligation to comply with a 22-part Congressional subpoena that was issue in October 2011. The judge will also review whether President Obama's assertion of executive privilige surrounding Fast and Furious documents was warranted.

Obama's Real Unemployment Rate Is In Double Digits

◼ Once again, a bad jobs report comes out, and both the White House and the media trumpet it as "good" news and a sign the economy's turning around. It is in fact a dismal jobs report, as the numbers clearly show.

On the surface, the headline numbers don't look so bad. The Labor Department reported that U.S. businesses created 163,000 net new payroll jobs in July, while the unemployment rate was "essentially unchanged" at 8.3%.

No sooner had the numbers come out than President Obama was standing at a podium before the cameras, claiming credit for the job growth and again blaming former President Bush for the bad state of the economy.

"This morning we learned that our businesses created 172,000 new jobs in the month of July," he said. "That means that we've now created 4.5 million over the last 29 months and 1.1 million new jobs so far this year."

But "we" haven't in fact created any jobs. As a matter of fact, since Obama has entered office, some 1.1 million payroll jobs have disappeared.

We had to look twice at Obama's comments to make sure they weren't cribbed from Jon Stewart or some other late-night-TV jokester, because in truth, the real jobs economy is imploding in an unprecedented way.

Take the 163,000 "new" jobs Obama took credit for. That number comes from a monthly survey of businesses. But it's not a pure number. To get it, the government has to estimate the number of jobs created by new businesses. It also adds seasonal adjustment factors.

The 163,000 figure becomes even more suspect when you consider that 150,000 people left the workforce in July — something that almost never happens when the economy is expanding and creating new jobs. In short, the 163,000 "new" jobs is a mirage due mostly to seasonal adjustments — not real jobs.

The Media Research Center has released a new analysis of the 21 ABC, CBS and NBC evening news stories about Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's trip to London, Israel and Poland between July 25 and July 31. The report’s findings are absolutely staggering. 18 of the 21 stories emphasized Romney’s perceived gaffes. That’s 86 percent!

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that the media took this opportunity to thoroughly trash Obama’s rival, but the near unanimous negativity of their coverage is as outrageous as it is transparent. MRC’s analysis also found:

– NBC and CBS savaged Romney for an innocuous remark about London’s readiness for the Games following security issues widely reported by those same networks. The comment was so unremarkable that NBC cut it out of their original taped interview with Romney.

– NBC and CBS only made Romney’s Olympic comments an issue after taking their cues from British tabloids.

– When candidate Obama toured abroad during the 2008 campaign, the networks ignored that Obama falsely presented himself as a member of the Senate Banking Committee to reporters in Israel referring to “his” committee’s calls for divestment in Iran.

– Four years later Romney’s tough talk on Iran in defense of Israel was reported as an “error.”

– During Romney’s week-long trip, the networks committed 53 minutes of almost entirely negative coverage to the Republican candidate. During Obama’s trip in 2008, they spent 92 minutes gushing over Obama.

It’s impossible to look at the fawning coverage of Obama’s trip in 2008 compared to the sliming Romney has taken in 2012 and not see a clear agenda on the part of the liberal media.

There is no low to which they won’t sink to damage Mitt Romney in order to help Obama win re-election, even if it means shouting questions about gaffes at him during a visit to Poland’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It’s absolutely despicable.
