Now Obama is using Israel as a lever to push Egypt back into the Islamist camp. Egypt’s rejection of the Muslim Brotherhood broke the Arab Spring. Political Islam, which seemed to be on the ascendance, is back to being a freak show represented by terrorists and Turkey’s mad mustachioed dictator.

Obama's Gaza Game - Sultan Knish

While Israelis are fighting and dying, families huddling in bomb shelters and soldiers going off to face death, the men and women in suits and power suits moving through the great halls of diplomacy are using them as pawns in a larger game.

During the Cold War, Israel was a pawn in a larger struggle between the US and the USSR. Now it is back to being a counter in a larger game....

Israel is just the means; the Muslim Brotherhood and political Islam are the objective. That objective may mean the end of the West, but those striding boldly through the halls of diplomacy are not worried.

The real target of the Hamas campaign wasn’t Israel; it was Egypt.

Egypt’s crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood had included Hamas. That crackdown worried Hamas far more than anything that Israel was doing. Meanwhile the Muslim Brotherhood’s loss of power meant a major setback for the sugar daddies of the Arab Spring; Qatar, Turkey and their Western allies.

The new alignment had placed Qatar, Turkey, Obama and the EU in one row, while Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Israel and the PLO were in another row. The latest phase of the Gaza War between Israel and Hamas was meant to break apart that alignment.

Obama’s tilt toward Iran had encouraged Sunni Muslims to throw their backing behind ISIS leading to significant gains in Iraq. Qatar and Turkey, backers of both Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, then used ISIS to push the myth that the only counter to Al Qaeda was the Brotherhood’s political Islam.

Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, political Islam and the Jihadist bands, have always been two sides of the same coin, but the argument remains a persuasive one in the great halls of diplomacy.... Read the rest HERE

CA Candidate Neel Kashkari´s Homeless Week Makes the Case Against Obama´s Executive Amnesty

link - Tony Lee/Breitbart Big Government

Republican California gubernatorial candidate Neel Kashkari recently spent a week homeless on the streets of Fresno, CA, and he may have discovered why so many American workers oppose illegal immigration. His struggles to find a job--let alone food and a roof over his head--exemplify why American workers oppose illegal immigration and President Barack Obama´s plans to give millions of illegal immigrants work permits in an economy that has not recovered for them. On Thursday, fierce opposition to Obama´s potential granting of work permits to millions of illegal immigrants caused House GOP leaders to pull their border bill, which did not explicitly ban Obama from implementing potential executive actions....

American workers, like those in Fresno, know that wages are not rising for the jobs that are becoming more scarce. They know that their social services, as Palin said, are being stretched to the max. Yet, the Obama administration forces them to take care of illegal immigrant juveniles while pressing to bring in more foreign workers to compete with them for jobs....

House border bill implodes, and Ted Cruz stands amid wreckage

(+ video) - Francine Kiefer/Christian Science Monitor
On Thursday, the House GOP imploded over its border bill to solve the child-migrant crisis, pulling the legislation from the floor for lack of votes. And there, standing among the legislative wreckage, stood the proud senator from Texas, Ted Cruz. Not literally, of course. But the tea party Texan is once again smack in the middle of a House Republican debacle.
Republicans deliver another self-inflicted wound - Washington Post
Republicans are asking for the right to govern, to control the legislative machinery starting in 2015. But they continue to struggle with that very responsibility in the one chamber they control. How many times have Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) and his top lieutenants suffered similar embarrassments as support for leadership measures suddenly eroded in the face of a conservative revolt?

Jeff Sessions Holds The Line, Blocks Democrat Immigration Travesty - John Hinderaker/Powerline
‘Blame Cruz’ Is the New ‘Blame Bush’ for Whiny Democrats - Stephen Kruiser/PJMedia

No one is living rent free in more Democrats’ heads these days than Ted Cruz. He could take the next six months off and they would be blaming everything on his “failure to come to work and show leadership” or something. He is a convenient fall guy because none of the useful idiot Republican senators from the old guard will openly defend Cruz after he failed to spend his first year in office kissing their backsides.

What Cruz is most guilty of is responding to his constituency rather than the popularity police on Capitol Hill. We have created a permanent ruling class thanks to a lazy electorate who returns idiots to office for decades. These idiots stay in office by mugging for the cameras but not really doing much. Anybody new who shows up and acts like a representative in this — you know –representative republic is just asking for trouble.

Some Republicans frustrated over the last-minute collapse of support for a border bill have been blaming Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. But it turns out they may have the wrong Republican senator in their sights. A number of sources on Capitol Hill say lobbying by Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions helped sway that state´s House delegation against the bill, leading to the collapse.

Rep. Chris Van Hollen: ‘Speaker Cruz’ - Politico
Rep. Chris Van Hollen slammed House Republicans on Thursday, saying members now have to check with “Speaker Cruz” to get any legislation passed. “It was Senator Cruz calling the shots, and that’s why people around here are calling him ‘Speaker Cruz’ today,” the Maryland Democrat said to MSNBC’s Alex Wagner. “It means when Speaker Boehner says he’s going to get something done from now on, he’d better be checking with Senator Cruz to see if he’s gonna get the votes because clearly the new leadership team isn’t up to the task.”

An enterprising blogger's diligent spadework has revealed the truth behind an Israeli 'massacre' that never was. (H/T Jonathan Foreman) - James Delingpole/Breitbart London [UK]

According to the Hamas version of events - widely promulgated in the media by ITN, the Telegraph and the Belfast Telegraph - an Israeli airstrike on a crowded market place during a partial ceasefire in the Shijaiyah neighbourhood of Gaza City on July 30th, 2014 was responsible for the deaths of 17 people, including blue-helmeted photojournalist Rani Rayan.

However as Thomas Wictor has incontrovertibly demonstrated using close analysis of film footage of the incident, the deaths were not caused by Israeli shrapnel but by secondary explosions from a vast cache of Hamas rockets.
Oh, and the market wasn't 'crowded' either: it had been closed for the day.

And this particular area wasn't included in the ceasefire zone, either, because Hamas was continuing to fire rockets from it.

Senate report details how EPA officials divert millions of tax dollars to activist groups

A comprehensive new report released Wednesday by the Republican staff of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee makes clear that the answer to that question is yes. The report is entitled "The chain of environmental command." - Mark Tapscott/Washington Examiner

Major mainstream media which generally parrot the perspectives and analyses of the environmental movement have utterly ignored the report....

Here are just four of the conclusions described in the report's executive summary regarding government funding of environmental nonprofits:

• Former far-left environmentalists working at EPA funnel government money through grants to their former employers and colleagues, often contributing to the bottom line of environmental activist groups.

• Under President Obama, EPA has given more than $27 million in taxpayer-funded grants to major environmental groups. Notably, the Natural Resources Defense Council and Environmental Defense Fund – two key activists groups with significant ties to senior EPA officials – have collected more than $1 million in funding each.

• EPA Region 2 Administrator Judith Enck appears to be inappropriately and personally involved in the allocation of EPA grants to favored groups. Enck is also the subject of an inquiry led by the EPA Office of Inspector General.

• EPA also gives grants to lesser-known extreme groups. For example, the Louisiana Bucket Brigade received hundreds of thousands of grants under former Administrator Lisa Jackson despite challenges by state regulators over the use of such grants.

It wasn't that long ago that MSM silence could disappear an important government report, but thanks to the Internet, that's no longer the case.

Feds Force Drake's Bay Oyster Factory to Close

Drakes Bay’s lease expired Thursday after the National Park Service previously decided it would transform the area into a marine sanctuary. The wholesale operation will stay in business through August, but the retail shop is permanently closed. The outbuildings will soon be destroyed and the roughly one million oysters trashed. In addition, 30 employees will no longer work at the company because their homes are on the property. - Breitbart California

...According to the SF Chronicle, a whopping 80% of the Bay Area’s oysters come from Drakes Bay; 35% of the state's oysters are provided by the company. The company estimated that on a busy day, they were capable of selling 100,000 oysters. The owner, Kevin Lunny, who bought the company in 2005, was sick at heart, saying, "This is not environmentalists versus ranchers. This is 90 percent of the Bay Area versus a few extreme hands-off preservationists who found an agency willing to listen to them...."

Five myths about impeachment

Some 40 years after Richard Nixon resigned to avoid his likely impeachment by the House of Representatives, Washington is again talking impeachment. Members of Congress are denouncing the president’s contempt for constitutional law, while the president is raising money to fight the effort to remove him. But this time, the money pouring in would be just as well spent on defense against Bigfoot. Much of the debate has been more mythological than constitutional. - Jonathan Turley/Washington Post

1. An impeachable offense is anything Congress says it is.
2. An impeachable offense must involve a violation of criminal law.
3. History establishes a clear precedent for impeachable conduct.
4. Impeaching a president is like recalling a governor.
5. Obama is in danger of impeachment.

...Obama is as likely to be impeached as he is to be installed as the next pontiff. And I say that as someone who has testified in Congress that this president has violated federal laws, unconstitutionally appointed various executive-branch officers and improperly transferred money. Nevertheless, many of these disputes have divided judges on the merits. Presidents are allowed to challenge Congress in such conflicts without being subject to impeachment. Where they cross the line is when they ignore final judicial rulings in acts of contempt of both courts and Congress. Obama has not done that.

Does ´No Impeachment´ Fulfill Alinsky´s Rule #4? - Jeannie DeAngelis/American Thinker

...This smacks of a Saul Alinsky Rule #4 “gotcha” if ever there was one, because John and Mitch may have been abruptly hooked by Barack Obama’s bait.

If they have, from the president’s standpoint this may be a bigger catch than Osama Bin Laden, because it paves the way for what Alinsky advised when he said, “make the enemy live up to its own book of rules” -- and that would mean that America loses.

How, you ask, does America lose by Republicans vowing not to impeach?

Easy! After Obama breaks the rules, thanks to their own proclamation, Republicans are now beholden to the rulebook they themselves created. As a result, this subversive president, against the will of the American people, can now dive without impediment into the impeachable offense of granting amnesty to millions of lawbreaking individuals.

After what looked like an attempt to blow the president’s scam and head off a stealthy maneuver, Republicans may have been majorly conned into tying their own hands, which, if that was the goal, is precisely what the president would have hoped for.

Now, if Obama acts without Congressional approval, if those who said they had no plans to impeach turn around and move to impeach, Barack ‘Alinsky Junior’ Obama is ‘fundamentally transformed,’ in the eyes of the public, into a misunderstood victim, persecuted by a band of bumbling politicians on the right who broke their word.

Either way, Barack Obama wins!

Sources familiar with conversations between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, say the Israeli leader advised the Obama administration "not to ever second guess me again" on the matter. The officials also said Netanyahu said he should be "trusted" on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.

The Obama administration on Friday condemned "outrageous" violations of an internationally brokered Gaza cease-fire by Palestinian militants and called the apparent abduction of an Israeli soldier a "barbaric" action.

The strong reaction came as top Israeli officials questioned the effort to forge the truce, accusing the U.S. and the United Nations of being naive in assuming the radical Hamas movement would adhere with its terms. The officials also blamed the Gulf state of Qatar for not forcing the militants to comply.

IDF to complete destruction of Hamas tunnels within 24 hours - Jerusalem Post
The IDF has destroyed Hamas's flagship terrorism project; its network of cross-border tunnels that snuck under the border into Israel. The military also began to pull its forces out of the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening.

Hamas has spent five years preparing this strategic threat; the IDF wrecked 31 tunnels in two weeks. By Sunday, all of the tunnels the IDF knew about, or discovered during the offensive, will be destroyed. A few tunnels that Israel doesn't know about may remain intact.

Many of the underground passages were designed to send heavily armed murder squads into Israeli villages for killing sprees, and attack army positions from behind. They were filled with weapons, explosives, and equipment, enabling terrorists dressed in civilian clothing to disappear into a shaft in Gaza, and emerge in Israel, disguised as IDF soldiers and fully equipped to carry out a mass casualty attack. The IDF has discovered motorcycles in some of the tunnels, which were earmarked by Hamas for rapid raids into Israel and subsequent retreats back into Gaza.

Capitol Update (Thursday, July 31, 2014)

President's Message

With members enjoying summer vacations and  many clubs going dark during this time of year we can sometimes forget that the critical November election is just around the corner. There are so many things we can do to help our candidates while we are still enjoying the summer season.  We have to win big in November and we need to seize some of the opportunities that summer provides to ensure victory.
One of the most important things we can do is work on voter registration. The more Republicans we register, the more votes we ensure for our candidates at the polls.  We can take advantage of summer opportunities to increase our Republican voter registration numbers at county fairs, street fairs, farmers’ markets, walking precincts, candidate events, block parties and more.  Remember to always keep a supply of voter registration forms in your car.  As a good friend once told me you never know where you will find a new Republican so be prepared!

In the past we might have received bounty for our voter registrations, but that is NOT why we go out into our communities. We register more Republican voters to ensure victory for our candidates . We register voters because we must stop the supermajority in Sacramento, win a Republican majority in the US Senate and  keep a Republican majority in the House of Representatives. I cannot think of a more important incentive for going out into our communities to register Republican voters than the future of California and America.

Our CFRW Voter Registration Chair, Nancy Comaford, has created an exciting Voter Registration contest to help inspire our clubs and members to work even harder at voter registration. There will be certificates for wining clubs and a trophy to the Division with the highest percentage of registrations. Go to the CFRW website and click on Voter Registration to find all the information and forms you need.  Each division has their own voter registration chair to keep track of their division so send your voter registration information to your division chair.  They in turn will send the monthly updates to Nancy and she will compile them. We also have the opportunity to appoint CFRW delegates to the CRP by the number of Republican registrations we turn in.

We should not feel defeated or give up because the only way we can win is to stay positive, stay on message, and get out into our communities to educate the voters and register as many Republican as we possibly can! Remember CFRW is not just a political organization we are also a sisterhood. So let’s work together, register voters  and work hard to elect our candidates and ensure victory in November.  We must keep working  until we have a Republican majority in Sacramento and a Republican majority in both the House and Senate to stop the current administration in Washington DC  from destroying America.  We are Republican women and we Will make a difference in 2014!  The future is in our hands!

God Bless You & God Bless America
Thank you for all you do,

In a State of Drought

Did  you know that now it is illegal to water your lawn more than twice a week? Or that hosing down your driveway or sidewalk is against the law? These new water waste infractions came into effect earlier this week, regulations set forth by the State Water Resources Control Board, prompted by the ongoing drought here in California. Other new offenses include allowing irrigation water to flood off a property, washing a car with a hose not fitted with a shutoff nozzle, and operating a decorative fountain without recirculating the water. These offenses are subject to a fine of $500 a day and apply to both households and businesses. The State Water Board is urging Calfornias to report law breakers to their local water agencies. These new water waste laws will remain in effect for 270 days unless renewed.

Exclusive: Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee’s Staff Threatens Taxpayer For Asking About Her Impeachment Claims - Dwayne Horner/PJMedia

On the House floor Wednesday, longtime Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee made the startling claim that “We did not seek an impeachment of President Bush, because as an executive, he had the authority.”

These are the moments when you say “Really?”

The problem here is that Rep. Lee lied to the American People inside the People’s House. Good thing for her that when you make speeches on the floor of the House of Representatives you are not under oath or under the threat of perjury. Perhaps that should change, but that’s another debate for another day.

Lied? Well back in 2008, Rep. Lee co-sponsored House Resolution 1258 entitled “Impeaching George W. Bush, President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors. “

...That was startling. I asked to speak to someone in the office to register my thoughts on a congresswoman lying on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. From there, it got crazy but not as crazy, and then a little crazier.

I was transferred to a gentleman on Lee’s staff. When I again asked him about the contradiction and stated that perhaps I was confused, the man said “Oh look it here, we have one of those right wing, tea-bagger nut jobs on the phone taking his cues from FOX News.”

He then accused me of being un-American, raising his voice at me while asking me to calm down, and telling me that I am just on some mission to destroy our country. When I calmly asked for his name, he said “I don’t have to give it to you because I don’t want to show up on some right wing blog and be on your Twitter account.” Keep in mind, I never said who I was – he just made assumptions and attacked me. When I reminded him that he gets paid by our tax dollars, he said “I doubt you even pay taxes and the IRS will find you soon enough,” and hung up on me.

Was that a threat from Rep. Lee’s staff to use the IRS as a weapon against citizens for just asking questions?

BREAKING: House GOP Pull Their Immigration Bill

House Republican leaders do not have the votes to fund Barack Obama’s amnesty/immigration plan. So they pulled it. - RedState

...This, by the way, is a big win for Ted Cruz of Texas and Jeff Sessions of Alabama. Both Senators have come out forcefully against the House plan not including DACA. It appears enough Republicans in the House listened.

Think about this for a minute: House GOP Leadership would rather do nothing about the immigration problem than secure the border. Anything they passed would have been blocked by Harry Reid. Anything. Yet they were too scared to come out as the party that supports securing the border. So they scuttled the whole thing rather than take a position popular with the American public.

Charge: 'Clintons turned the State Department into a racket to line their own pockets'

link - Paul Bedard/Washington Examiner

Bill and Hillary Clinton are coming under fire today after State Department documents showed that officials rubber-stamped the former president’s expansive and sometimes high-priced overseas speaking engagements while his wife was in charge of foreign policy with many of those nations.

“These documents are a bombshell and show how the Clintons turned the State Department into a racket to line their own pockets,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. Judicial Watch and the Washington Examiner teamed to seek and publish those documents today.

“How the Obama State Department waived hundreds of ethical conflicts that allowed the Clintons and their businesses to accept money from foreign entities and corporations seeking influence boggles the mind,” said Fitton, adding, “That former President Clinton trotted the globe collecting huge speaking fees while his wife presided over U.S. foreign policy is an outrage."

The ‘Billionaire’s Club’ Behind the Green Movement - Washington Free Beacon

A sprawling network of left-wing foundations, non-profit groups, and individual donors and activists may be flouting federal law in advocating an anti-fossil-fuel agenda, according to a major Senate report released on Wednesday.

The 92-page report details how those individuals and organizations have disbursed tens of millions of dollars, often shielded from public scrutiny, to sway elections and public policy toward environmentalist goals.

Much of the money behind the effort, the report claims, is laundered through non-profit groups prohibited from engaging in political activity.

The report, released on Wednesday by the Republican staff of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, dubs this network the “Billionaire’s Club.”

The club, it says, is “adept at converting charitable donations into political outcomes by taking advantage of loopholes in the tax code. Numerous examples raise questions as to whether the charitable donations are indirectly supporting political activity.”

'We have no plans to impeach the president. We have no future plans. Listen, it’s all a scam, started by Democrats at the White House'

Despite frantic claims from the White House and Democrats that impeachment of President Obama is possible, Speaker of the House John Boehner ruled out the possibility of that happening on Tuesday. - Alex Pappas/Daily Caller

“This whole talk about impeachment is coming from the president’s own staff,” Boehner said. “And coming from Democrats on Capitol Hill. Why? Because they are trying to rally their people to give money and to show up in this year’s election.”

D.C. Circuit rules that Obamacare tax isn’t a “bill for raising revenue” - Pacific Legal Foundation

This morning, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against our challenge to Obamacare, holding that the individual mandate tax need not have originated in the House of Representatives because it does not qualify as a “bill for raising revenue” under the Constitution. In a relatively short opinion by Judge Judith Rogers, the court holds that the overall purpose of the individual mandate tax was to force people to buy insurance, not to raise revenue, and therefore the constitutional requirement that it originate in the House does not apply.

In our arguments before the court, we contended that this vague “overall purpose” kind of approach shouldn’t apply. No previous court decision has used it; although some language in the precedent, when read out of context, refers to the “purpose” of various laws, what the Supreme Court has actually said is that there is a category of taxes that aren’t really taxes, because they’re penalties—fines or other provisions meant to force you to comply with some other law. Those aren’t subject to the Origination Clause. But the individual mandate tax doesn’t fall into that category. Why not? Because the Supreme Court said so in NFIB v. Sebelius. It specifically held that the individual mandate tax is not a penalty—only a tax....

It's now or never for opponents of President Barack Obama's lawlessness on illegal immigration.

Saying America faces a "perilous hour," and members of Congress are entering a "momentous week" when it comes to the future of the separation of powers, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) urged his colleagues on Monday to "be counted" and "stand up" to Obama's "lawless actions, and sponsor legislation that will block him" from granting amnesty to millions more illegal immigrants.

He also urged colleagues to "oppose any border supplemental that does" not prevent Obama from using federal money to implement more executive actions on immigration. Simply put, Sessions said, there is "no middle ground" when it comes to Obama's potential nullification of federal immigration laws.

Liberal darling and free-birth-control advocate Sandra Fluke is her own biggest donor in her state Senate race, according to official California campaign finance reports.

Fluke donated $12,000 to her campaign and $4,826.27 in non-monetary contributions. While $16,826.27 may not sound like a lot, Fluke also loaned her campaign $100,000. - Ashe Schow/Washington Examiner

Where does a 2012 law school grad working as a social justice attorney get a loan that size? Her campaign never responded to a Washington Examiner inquiry, so we’re left to speculate.

Perhaps the loan was in part secured by the family of Fluke’s husband, Adam Mutterperl. In 2012, Fluke married Mutterperl, an amateur stand-up comic and son of big-time Democratic donor William Mutterperl.

Ted Cruz Just Turned the Tables on ‘True Blood’ and it’s AWESOME - TPNN

On Sunday Night’s episode, the Daily Beast reports that the show was about a violent massacre at a fictitious Ted Cruz fundraiser, where they coined a new “War on Women” term, “Republicu*t.” How kind.

Somehow the series thinks that murdering conservatives makes for good entertainment.

The Daily Beast asked Senator Cruz for a response to the segment...

Well, on his Facebook page, which has over 842,000 “likes,” Cruz responded on Tuesday, and it’s classic Cruz:
Of all the places I never thought to be mentioned, HBO’s True Blood vampire show would have to be near the top of the list. Sunday night, they aired a misogynist and profanity-ridden episode where Texas Republicans are murdered attending a “Ted Cruz fundraiser.”

Well, I’m sorry to have lost the vampire vote, but am astonished (and amused) that HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends….

Fund contends that the administration wants “conservatives to go crazy talking about impeachment and amnesty, driving them up the wall with selective leaks, just like they did with the birther issue. This is whack-a-mole.”

The truth is, according to Fund, that “Democrats in congress would not allow Obama to have that kind of sweeping amnesty.” The veteran journalist believes that kind of an amnesty would ruin the Democratic Party for the 2014 mid-term elections. “It would say to every American of working age, ‘we don’t care about you ever getting a job again because we are just allowing a bunch of undocumented aliens, illegal immigrants and anybody that happens to be on the right side of the border a chance at a job, work permits, work authorization, and you’re out of luck because you are just a sap that happens to be born in this country,’” he explained.

The Obama administration on Tuesday will publish a proposed rule that would give thousands of temporary and seasonal government workers access to the government’s health care program, even though Obamacare explicitly prohibits them from using that program.

Democrat Rep. to Republican Colleagues: ‘You Don’t Have a Right to Know Everything’ Going on in Government

Speaking during a Congressional hearing Friday on the White House decision to ignore a House subpoena of David Simas, Obama’s director of the Office of Political Strategy and Outreach, Norton admonished her Republican colleagues with the following statement: - IJ Review
“You don’t have a right to know everything in a separation-of-powers government, my friend.

That is the difference between a parliamentary government and a separation-of-powers government.”
Aside from the fact that this administration promised to be (and claims that it is) the “most transparent administration in history,” Norton is telling the Congressional Oversight Committee – whose very charge is overseeing the Executive Branch of the Federal Government – that it doesn’t have a right to do so....

CNN POLL: Americans really wish they had elected Mitt Romney instead of Obama

Americans are so down on President Obama at the moment that, if they could do the 2012 election all over again, they'd overwhelmingly back the former Massachusetts governor's bid. - The WEEK

That's just one finding in a brutal CNN poll, released Sunday, which shows Romney topping Obama in a re-election rematch by a whopping nine-point margin, 53 percent to 44 percent. That's an even larger spread than CNN found in November, when a survey had Romney winning a redo 49 percent to 45 percent....

Also in the CNN survey, a record-low 46 percent say Obama "shares [their] values," while only 49 percent say he is "sincere in what he says," also a record-low. - - Jon Terbush
