GORSUCH CONFIRMED

ISIS lifts veil on American at heart of its propaganda machine

California Senate has just passed the largest gas tax hike in CA's history. A blow to drivers w/ low to moderate incomes:

Senator Patricia Bates (R-Laguna Niguel) issued the following statement after the California State Senate approved Senate Bill 1, which would raise $52 billion in taxes over the next 10 years to repair California’s roads and highways.

“Californians with low to moderate incomes are the big losers of this deal as it raises the gas tax by 70 percent and increases the average cost of registering a car by 25 percent. The big winners are high-speed rail whose funding remains untouched and bureaucrats who want more money without real accountability. It is appalling that 30 percent of the new taxes will not even be used for road repairs.

“This plan includes the largest gas tax increase in California’s history – a $5.2 billion annual tax increase that grows over time and never ends. It is another step in the wrong direction to make California more affordable for working families. Today’s vote is a sobering reminder that elections have consequences.”

Soros-Linked "Undesirable NGOs" Fund ISIS-linked Refugee Boats To EU

Investigations by Italian authorities and others have found that NGOs funded by among others George Soros, are actively financing private ships to smuggle tens of thousands of illegal North African refugees into the EU via Southern Italy. The human trafficking is reportedly linked to ISIS smuggling networks. If confirmed by authorities, it could potentially open the NGOs to criminal charges .

Dems lost their base for reasons they’re not intellectually honest enough to own, so screaming Trump is illegitimate is easier and lazy.

Her interest was not in national security but to advance the political interests of the Democratic party

Understand: There would have been no intelligence need for Susan Rice to ask for identities to be unmasked. If there had been a real need to reveal the identities — an intelligence need based on American interests — the unmasking would have been done by the investigating agencies.

The national-security adviser is not an investigator. She is a White House staffer. The president’s staff is a consumer of intelligence, not a generator or collector of it. If Susan Rice was unmasking Americans, it was not to fulfill an intelligence need based on American interests; it was to fulfill a political desire based on Democratic-party interests.

How Trump supporters survive in blue California: 'You kind of keep your head down'

...It’s not easy being a Republican in California, where the Grand Old Party could soon join the Yosemite toad and Mohave ground squirrel on the list of threatened species. It’s harder still being a Republican in left-leaning strongholds such as Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area.

But it’s hardest of all living in those blue bulwarks and supporting President Trump.

Living behind the Blue Curtain requires certain survival skills, backers of the president say. No bumper stickers, lest someone key your car. No signs, in the window or planted on your front lawn, to prevent vandalism. Steer clear of Facebook and other online forums, and don’t discuss politics in the real world if you can help it....

LGBTQ Advocates Demand That Donald Trump Compiles A Registry Of All Gay Americans

Imagine a scenario in which the Trump administration called for all Americans to register their sexual preferences with the government. Gay, straight, bi, trans, and every other permutation of sexual desire and identity would be compiled and cross-referenced by government officials. Lying or failing to answer the question would be a violation of federal law, subject to fines. The government would know precisely what is going on in your bedroom, and in the bedrooms of your fellow citizens across the nation.

That sounds like a lefty fever dream, a dystopian vision of Trumpian persecution.

Instead, it is the policy some LGBT advocates are clamoring for and were disappointed not to have received last week. Rather than celebrating the protection of their privacy, the National LGBTQ Taskforce released a press statement condemning the administration’s decision to continue the existing policy of minding their own business.

CALIFORNIA is throwing a tantrum against TRUMP at the expense of its citizens.

...First, keep in mind that California has long set the agenda in America. It remains true to a significant degree that “as California goes, so goes the Nation.” Gay marriage is recent proof of that. Also, don’t forget that the San Francisco was ground zero for the sanctuary city movement that grips the Left and affects the whole Country.

Beyond those items, California’s high taxes, high poverty rate and poor job prospects has led many Californians to leave the state for other states. For those too poor to leave and those in poverty because of a lack of jobs brought on bad California policies, they are reliant on federal dollars for welfare, Medicare and the like. All combined, California has a disproportionately high number of welfare recipients – and you pay for that.

The list goes on. For years, Brown and the Democrats have refused to spend money on the upkeep of infrastructure in favor of their social justice plans. The recent storms wreaked havoc that should not have been but for deferred maintenance. Now federal dollars, your tax dollars, are paying for the repair.

All of the above is why you should care about California’s current drive to the Left. It is not just a political temper tantrum – it affects your state and your wallet. In other words, the Left Coast is not just a state of mind, it has a hefty price tag as well - and YOU are paying for it ever day.

Latest column: California GOP continues its plunge into irrelevance

...Republicans dominated the state’s politics for much of the 20th century – personified by Ronald Reagan – but began to fade as the century closed.

The new registration report shows Republicans declining to just 25.97 percent of the state’s 19.4 million potential voters, 9 percentage points below the party’s nearly 35 percent share in 2000.

Oddly, however, Democrats didn’t gain. In fact, they’ve dropped about a half-point to 44.77 percent since 2000. The big increase came in voters without a party preference, from 14.36 percent in 2000 to 24.51 percent in 2017. By next year’s general election, they may outnumber Republicans....

The Obama Administration’s Long History of Shady Surveillance

As the facts about who surveilled whom during the transition get sorted out, it is useful to remember why Trump’s team and his supporters have reason to be suspicious, thanks to a long documented history of Obama using shady surveillance tactics on both political opponents and international allies. Rhodes himself knows this history but that doesn’t seem to matter as he once again attempts to make people believe he fell out of the sky and onto Twitter on January 21st, 2017.

To help jog Rhodes’ memory, (at the link) are all the documented instances of the Obama administration using and in some cases abusing surveillance.

Certainly, the religious right has had its excesses. But if you think that's bad, just imagine the consequences of a political system dominated by a religious left that doesn't believe in redemption.

I suppose it was only a matter of time before the left embraced formal sacraments such as confession. Only there's one key aspect of America's religious tradition the left will never embrace: I guarantee no man will walk out of this campus confession booth having been forgiven of the sin of "hypermasculinity."

Certainly, the religious right has had its excesses. But if you think that's bad, just imagine the consequences of a political system dominated by a religious left that doesn't believe in redemption.
