Not just a war on women but a crime against humanity: the #Islamist treatment of Middle Eastern women.
A bitter truth, often glossed over in the name of "tradition," is the religious teachings and the responsibilities of a Muslim woman. Most glossed over is the violence that men are still allowed to inflict on their women in the name of their religion and culture on such a massive part of the planet.
This brutality not only takes place in ISIS-held territory but across most Muslim societies. All around you, you see women killed, molested, imprisoned, maimed and incarcerated while their men sugar-coat the abuse as "modesty", "honour", "divine law" or even "justice"....
Turkey last year presented a bill for tackling its widespread child-marriage issue: the Turkish government introduced a bill that pardons a rapist if he marries his victim. The victim is not consulted.
All forms of exploiting women are presented as divine law, sharia, in which women have no say, which they are unable to use in their own defence, and which they are forced to accept as their fate.
These are countries where men are not only permitted, but invited, to consider woman a pet -- to be killed, burned with acid, benzene or a weapon of choice supposedly to preserve a family's "honour".
These laws, put in place by the governments and the clergy, provide a safe escape for criminals, such as those who kill their women and claim it is in the name of "honour".
The deeper horror is that all these abuses -- child marriage, confinement, FGM, rape, torture, and legal discrimination -- have accomplices. These enablers are often well-meaning people from the West, "multiculturalists" who are reluctant to pass judgement on other people's customs no matter how brutal they might be....

The left-wing group that helped organize the violent shut down of the Milo Yiannopoulos event at the University of California, Berkeley on Wednesday is backed by a progressive charity that is in turn funded by George Soros, the city of Tucson, a major labor union and several large companies.... on its Facebook page, the group asserted that the vandalism and arson were not “violence.” Instead, the group argued that Yiannopoulos and Trump perpetrate violence through the policies they support....
The organization did not mention the violent attacks against conservatives. One Trump backer was attacked with shovels by a group of men clad in black. He was shown laying unconscious in the middle of the street. A female Trump supporter was blasted with pepper spray while giving an on-camera interview.
Refuse Fascism’s involvement has spurred questions about who is behind the group. In a series of tweets on Thursday, Trump asserted that the protesters were paid to agitate.
While it is unclear whether those who carried out the violence were paid to do so, the benefactors of the Alliance for Global Justice — and Refuse Fascism — are listed online.
According to its most recent 990 tax form, Alliance for Global Justice (AfGJ) received $2.2 million in funding for the fiscal year ending in March 2016.
One of the group’s biggest donors is the Tides Foundation, a non-profit funded by billionaire progressive philanthropist George Soros. Tides gave AfGJ $50,000.

According to Rasmussen Reports’ most recent survey released Friday, 54 percent of likely voters approved of the president’s job performance.
The debate is a flashback to last fall’s election — in which Trump ran ahead of his poll numbers, particularly in the Upper Midwest states that propelled him to victory. And just like during the campaign season, there’s evidence suggesting that Americans may be less willing to admit they support the president and his actions if they are talking to another person on the phone, compared to polls completed with the anonymity of the internet or an automated phone interface.
“I think you’re getting two things,” said John McLaughlin, a Republican pollster who worked for Trump during the campaign. “One, the online surveys, people are more likely to put in an honest answer because they’re not speaking to a human being.”

MUST READ> For Mainstream Media, Lying is the New Black https://t.co/7tkQXDBeaA— Roger Simon (@rogerlsimon) February 2, 2017
The Washington Post (and lots of others) report that the entire senior staff at the State Department resigned rather than serve under Trump. The reality? Four political appointees whose resignations had been requested by President Obama, as is customary at a change of administration, had their resignations accepted.
One of them, Patrick Kennedy, was involved in the Clinton email scandal, but will be allowed to retire...
This fashionable lie was quickly debunked by practically everyone, including Vox. Here's more:
The Trump administration was muzzling the EPA and USDA. The reality? It was, again, a customary step at the change of administration.Science, among others, debunked this fashionable lie.
The famous Muslim ban. Reality? It was a (temporary) ban on entrance from seven countries that had been identified as being so chaotic as to make effective vetting difficult -- under a law passed in 2015, modified in 2016, and signed by Obama (remember him?). The law itself had been supported by Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) -- who was in tears this weekend after it was implemented.Look folks: if the executive order blocks Christians from Iraq, but it doesn't block a Muslim cleric from Mecca, where only Muslims are permitted to enter by law, it just isn't a Muslim ban. "It's a Muslim ban" is just another fashionable lie.
Trump excluded countries from the "Muslim ban" (see above) that he has business dealings with. Reality? Let's look back at that same law: the list of countries comes from 2016. I think it's pretty clever of Trump to arrange for the Obama administration to craft that list to give Trump's businesses an advantage, don't you? But lying about Trump's executive orders has become fashionable....

Contrary to the media and most pollsters who felt Democrat Hillary Clinton was a shoo-in for the presidency, Republican Donald Trump was the surprise winner. Fifty-four percent (54%) of voters who Strongly Disapprove of the job President Trump is doing say the election has hurt a personal relationship. Just 35% of those who Strongly Approve of Trump's job performance agree.
Seventy-seven percent (77%) of all voters now think Americans today are less tolerant of each other’s political opinions than they were in the past. That’s up from 70% in November. Voters were last this pessimistic just weeks before the 2012 presidential election. Only 11% think Americans are more tolerant of each other’s views than in the past, while 10% think the level of tolerance is about the same.

Social-media hysteria invents Trump scandals that fester, burn out, & float away in matter of hours. Sifting Through the Fake News on Trump’s Calls with Mexico and Australia
◼ RUSH: Sifting Through the Fake News on Trump’s Calls with Mexico and Australia
...How about the AP report that Trump threatened the president of Mexico? The AP reported that Trump called the president of Mexico and said, “Look, if you don’t take care of those bad hombres down there that you’ve got, we’re gonna send in the American military to do it.” The AP claimed that Trump told the Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto that if he didn’t take care of the bad hombres down there that we would send in the US military. The Washington Post and others in the Drive-Bys ran with the AP story....
Even the AP story, if you read deep enough down there, the article admitted that Mexico denied that version of events. It doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter, ’cause the president of Mexico is not a credible source. He was on the call, but his sourcing is not credible if he doesn’t go along with the primary narrative of the story. The narrative is that Trump got on the phone, bullied the president of Mexico and threatened to send troops to get rid of bad hombres. The head honcho Mexico said, “No, no, no, didn’t happen,” but they say we can’t count on this guy as a source...
And then Australia. This is a big one. The first thing you have to understand, the current prime minister of Australia is practically a carbon copy clone of the new left-wing child socialist in Canada, what’s his name, Trudeau? Justin Trudeau. Yeah, the guy in Australia is a little older than Justin Trudeau, but he’s still a wacko leftist. And the Drive-By Media are having conniptions over Trump’s phone call to the Australian prime minister. His name is Malcolm Turnbull.
Now, in this call Trump supposedly denounced as dumb the deal that Obama had struck where the United States would trade some illegal aliens from Central America for the 1,200 refugees from Iran and Iraq and Afghanistan, refugees that Australia will not let into their country. What this is really all about is that there’s central American refugees and Australia won’t let ’em in.
Australia won’t let ’em in, they send them here, and Trump said to hell with that and even addressed this at the prayer breakfast today, telling people our country is under assault. There are people taking advantage of our country, and it’s gonna stop. And he said, “I don’t want you to be nervous what you hear about these calls.” And he’s talking about these two news reports about the phone calls he had with these two leaders in Australia and Mexico. And he was calming, he was comforting.... Read MORE at the link.

President Trump, moving fast to freeze and stop last minute regulations jammed through by former President Obama, has already stopped rules that would have cost businesses and taxpayers $181 billion.
According to a new analysis, Trump's actions began on Inauguration Day and had the added benefit of saving 5.5 million hours in paperwork.
American Action Forum's Sam Batkins said, "It is standard operating procedure for a new president to take stock of the existing regulatory landscape. What was extraordinary was that the previous administration had $181 billion in regulatory burdens, 16 billion-dollar rules, and millions of hours of new paperwork pending in the system. It's unlikely the regulatory freeze lasts for longer than a few months, but it's a certainty that the administration will scrutinize all pending major rules and determine those that adequately protect public health and safety and those that could harm economic growth."

President Trump has chosen Neil Gorsuch, a judge on the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, to fill the long-vacant Supreme Court seat left by the late Justice Antonin Scalia. The decision is already earning Trump high marks among many constitutional conservatives, including from numerous politicians and members of the media who have long questioned Trump's commitment to conservative ideals.

The seven countries selected were chosen by Barack Obama, prior to him leaving office. Another tidbit you won’t see widely acknowledged. However by using #MuslimBan they insured that those not paying close attention would find this to be a bigoted move. Even if it wasn’t true, it didn’t stop those in the media from spreading the false narrative...
Trump Has Secret Plans for the Gays
Social Media has been aflutter for days, with rumors swirling that Donald Trump had a super secret plan to punish the gays. He was just waiting to unleash it. Nevermind that Trump is the most gay friendly president in the history of the country. It took Barack Obama until Joe Biden said they’d changed positions during their re-election campaign that he “evolved” to be support Same-Sex Marriage. Trump for all his faults, has never publicly opposed it. In fact he has been fairly vocal in his support of the gay community. Having Peter Thiel speak at the Convention, Caitlyn Jenner is a family friend, and of course Trump even took to the stage wrapped in a Gay Pride Flag, but this hasn’t stopped those hell bent on painting him as homophobic. The long awaited pronouncement was made that Trump would be continuing the policies put in place by Obama for LGBTQ protections against discrimination. The media’s response after nearly a week of ginning up outrage? Somewhere between a shrug and a snide “well that’s what he says, now”. No that’s what he’s been saying, the media needs to stop telling people Trump is going to put them in camps.... MORE at the link

Trump Files Early With FEC For 2020 Candidacy, Outmaneuvers Nonprofits https://t.co/WKGto6mAzb— Ƭαвιтнα Ɓℓιѕѕ ❤ (@BlissTabitha) January 31, 2017
A document from the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) indicates that Donald Trump took steps last week to outmaneuver nonprofit organizations, leaving them unable to officially campaign against him over the next few years of his Presidency.
Filed on January 20th, 2017, the letter states that, while not an official announcement for reelection, Donald Trump has filed an FEC Form 2 in order to “ensure compliance with the Federal Election Campaign Act.” This is an unprecedented, although legal, move for the President to make. Barack Obama did not file for his 2012 re-election bid until April 2011. Having filed (even if not formally announcing a bid) as a candidate, Trump would be able to coordinate with PACs and other similar organizations.
More importantly, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations would no longer be able to engage in “political speech” which could theoretically affect the results of the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election without running the risk of losing their nonprofit status. The move effectively bars interest groups from creating nonprofits which they could funnel money into for the purposes of opposing Trump’s initiatives. This will likely create chaos for political opponents of Trump such as George Soros, who has sunk significant amounts of money into various nonprofit groups with the intent of opposing Trump’s government. How 501(c)(3) organizations will comply with the FEC’s regulations when participating an actions which qualify as political speech remains to be seen.

...Called Measure H, the proposed quarter-cent sales tax will be on the March 7 ballot for Los Angeles County voters. The goal is to raise an estimated $355 million a year for 10 years to help homeless people transition into planned affordable housing, officials said.
...In November, Los Angeles city voters passed Proposition HHH, a property tax bond measure that is supposed to raise $1.2 billion to build 10,000 affordable-housing units for the homeless. But the money only funds the bricks and mortar. Garcetti and others said the affordable-housing complexes they plan to build also need “wrap-around services” to help formerly homeless people adapt to living off the streets and, if needed, to treat addictions. That’s where Measure H comes in, Garcetti said.
“From Pomona to Palisades, from Palmdale to (San) Pedro, we have too many unhoused Angelenos,” Garcetti said. “It is unacceptable in Los Angeles. It is unforgivable if we do nothing about it.”
An estimated 47,000 people are considered homeless in Los Angeles County on any given night...
“The voters seem to like taxes,” said Kris Vosburgh, executive director of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. “If there’s a downside we’ve already pushed the middle class out of the Los Angeles area and one of the reasons is high taxes. People should realize these taxes are long-term and taxes run up the costs of everything.”
You’re probably seeing the best persuasion you will ever see from a new president. Instead of dribbling out one headline at a time, so the vultures and critics can focus their fire, Trump has flooded the playing field.
...You don’t know where to aim your outrage. He’s creating so many opportunities for disagreement that it’s mentally exhausting. Literally. He’s wearing down the critics, replacing their specific complaints with entire encyclopedias of complaints. And when Trump has created a hundred reasons to complain, do you know what impression will be left with the public?
He sure got a lot done.
Even if you don’t like it.
In only a few days, Trump has made us question what-the-hell every other president was doing during their first weeks in office. Were they even trying?

Austria plans burqa ban... https://t.co/f4Txt2jCIq— DRUDGE REPORT (@DRUDGE_REPORT) January 30, 2017
...The term used would apply to the Muslim burka and niqab, which cover all or most of the face. It was not immediately clear whether the ban would include other non-Muslim garments....
The FPO has called for a ban on “fascistic Islam” and Muslim symbols comparable to an existing law that forbids Nazi symbols....
