Adolf Eichmann Claimed Empathy for His Victims in Newly Released Letter



...A lieutenant-colonel in World War II, Eichmann was chief of the Jewish office of the Gestapo and participated in the Wannsee Conference in Berlin in 1942 at which the “final solution” for the Jews was decided on. He and his staff were given responsibility for transporting Jews from all over Europe to the death camps, mainly in Poland, where they were gassed. Historians estimated that 5.5 to 6 million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust.

Eichmann remained at his post until the war’s final days. Escaping from a prisoner of war camp, he fled to his native Austria. In 1950 he immigrated with his family to Argentina, using false papers. The Mossad discovered his whereabouts in Buenos Aires in 1960 and snatched him on a street near his home, where he was living under a false name. Flown to Israel, he was put on trial in Jerusalem, an event that brought the enormity of the Holocaust home to many around the world. In June 1962, the court’s verdict was carried out by hanging, the only death sentence ever carried out in Israel. His body was cremated and his ashes scattered at sea.

Eichmann’s plea for mercy was handwritten in German and addressed to Israel’s then-president, Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, who rejected it.

“There is a need to draw a line between the leaders responsible and the people like me forced to serve as mere instruments in the hands of the leaders,” Eichmann said in his letter. “I detest as the greatest of crimes the horrors which were perpetrated against the Jews and think it right that the initiators of these terrible deeds will stand trial before the law now and in the future.”...

Courage is a moral force. It makes us who we are. But it isn't always right. The SS were courageous and so were the Bolsheviks. So are the ACLU lawyers who rush to defend Muslim terrorists and their clients who blow themselves up to kill non-Muslims and their infidel civilization.

Warped morals that invert the innocent and the guilty, that turns murderers into victims, make courage into an evil thing. They make it into a crime.

Murder is not a mystery. Its harbinger is the police car, the plane flying low, the smiling man who opens his coat. Evil is not a mystery either. It is moral courage tuned to the destruction of civilization. The murderer can be courageous, but not creative. The ends of evil are power and ruination.

Liberalism is all too often the cult of the poor murderer. The thug who kills over inequality. The terrorist who bombs over bigotry. And it is outrage at the victims of its own Utopian crimes.

Utopia is another name for power. It is an absolute good that negates the humanity of every person on earth.

Virginia Dems Run Away From Vote to Support Israel



◼ The resolution passed by a wide margin of 70-2, with a large number of Democrat members choosing to sit out from the vote by leaving the chamber. The two votes against the resolution came from Democrats Vivian Watts and Scott Surovell. - Washington Free Beacon

Video of the vote shows that Republicans called for another vote on the resolution once the members returned to their seats.

“Having voted on the prevailing side of the [resolution] of which we just voted, I move for another vote now that about 20 members are back in their seats over here,” said Del. Jackson Miller, a Republican from Manassas.

Shortly after his call for another vote, they all left again.

...The rise of European anti-Semitism is in reality just a return to the norm. For a millennium, virulent Jew-hatred — persecution, expulsions, massacres — was the norm in Europe until the shame of the Holocaust created a temporary anomaly wherein anti-Semitism became socially unacceptable....

European anti-Semitism is not a Jewish problem, however. It’s a European problem, a stain, a disease of which Europe is congenitally unable to rid itself....

The threat to the Jewish future lies not in Europe but in the Muslim Middle East, today the heart of global anti-Semitism, a veritable factory of anti-Jewish literature, films, blood libels, and calls for violence — indeed for another genocide.

The Iranian bomb is a national-security issue, an alliance issue, and a regional Middle East issue. But it is also a uniquely Jewish issue because of Israel’s situation as the only state on earth overtly threatened with extinction, facing a potential nuclear power overtly threatening that extinction.

On the 70th anniversary of Auschwitz, mourning dead Jews is easy. And, forgive me, cheap. Want to truly honor the dead? Show solidarity with the living — Israel and its 6 million Jews. Make “never again” more than an empty phrase. It took Nazi Germany seven years to kill 6 million Jews. It would take a nuclear Iran one day.

Dozens of demonstrators shouted menacing slogans about Jews at a rally at one of the largest immigrant neighborhoods in The Netherlands.
The demonstrators gathered Friday in the Schilderswijk, a neighborhood of approximately 33,000 residents in The Hague where half the population was born either in Turkey or Morocco, or to parents who were born in those countries.
The rally was a show of support for ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, a radical Sunni militia group fighting Shiites and others in both countries.

Jews urged to flee Ukraine by Holocaust survivor

The pamphlets and posters, distributed in the eastern Ukraine city of Donetsk, demanded that the Jewish population register, pay a new tax or leave.

They are a terrifying echo of the anti-Jewish atrocities carried out by Ukrainians under Nazi occupation during the Second World War.

The leaflets, apparently signed by pro-Russian group the People’s Republic of Donetsk, have enraged the world....

Sam Pivnik, 86, was only 14 when his family were rounded up in Bedzin, western Poland, and sent to the death camp at Auschwitz.

After his parents, brothers and a sister were chosen “with the flick of a glove” for extermination by “Angel of Death” Dr Josef Mengele, the teenager, tattooed with a prisoner number, was left to survive alone. Mr Pivnik, who now lives in Golders Green, north London, said he was not surprised by the literature’s anti-Semitism....

As the climate of fear grows, however, the authenticity of the pamphlets is being called into question. Denis Pushilin, leader of the breakaway pro-Russian People’s Republic, vehemently denied his organisation was behind the leaflets. “Look at this document, I have never called myself the people’s governor, my job is different,” he told the Sunday Express.

“The stamp is bigger than it should be because it was Photoshopped from some real document.”

...They called on Ukraine’s police and secret services to find the real culprits, claiming the authors “tried to provoke a conflict”, and pin blame on the separatists.

Dr Efraim Zuroff, of the respected Simon Wiesenthal Centre, agreed, suggesting the Donetsk flyers were “an attempt to paint the pro-Russian forces as anti-Semitic”.

"According to the Biblical prophecy, world history is about to change dramatically."

Mars, Earth, and the Sun all aligned last night, a rare 'opposition of the planets' that only happens once every 778 days.

But what made this event so remarkable is that it occured precisely a week before everyone on earth will see the first of FOUR dark red 'blood moons', an extraordinary event some Christians believe represents the End of Days and the second coming of Christ.

The King James Bible predicts: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes," [Joel 2:31].

And, according to NASA, a highly unusual 'Tetrad' - four successive total 'blood-red' lunar eclipses each followed by six full moons - will, indeed, start next Tuesday and finish on September 28 2015.

The incredible alignment has only happened a handful of times in the last two thousand years but, remarkably, on each of the last three occasions it has coincided with a globally significant religious event....

"To get four blood moons you need something absolutely extraordinary in astrological terms.

"Every time this has happened in the last 500 years, it has coincided with tragedy for the Jewish people followed by triumph. And once again, for Israel, the timing of this Tetrad is remarkable.

"The first of the four blood moons will come on April 15 this year, during Passover. The second will be on October 8, at the time of the Feast of the Tabernacles.

"On April 4 2015, during Passover, we will have another blood moon. Then finally, on September 28, during next year's Feast of the Tabernacles, the fourth blood and final moon will dawn."

Though lunar eclipses are quite common, Astronomers of Humboldt member Jeff Schmitt said this tetrad of eclipses is “kind of exciting.”

”When you end up with several in a row like this, it's sort of unusual,” Schmitt said.

The first lunar eclipse in the tetrad will start at around 10 a.m. on April 14 for the West Coast, with a total phase occurring from around midnight to 1:30 p.m. on April 15.

Tetrads can be rare or common depending the time period, according to Astronomers of Humboldt Vice President Ken Yanosko.

”I got an email from some crackpot saying that this was going to be the end of the world,” he said. “There are a lot of rumors and chatter.”

The next three total lunar eclipses will take place on Oct. 8, April 4, 2015, and Sept. 28, 2015.
