...Halper's contracts were funded through four annual awards paid directly out of the Pentagon's Office of Net Assessment (ONA). Established as the DoD's "internal think tank" in 1973 by Richard Nixon (whose administration Halper worked for), the ONA was run by foreign policy strategist Andrew Marshall from its inception until his 2015 retirement at the age of 93, after which he was succeeded by current director James H. Baker.... Halper's most recent award was noted recently by Trump supporter Jacob Wohl, which piqued the interest of internet researchers who continued the analysis....

The most recent award to Halper for $411,575 was made in two payments, and had a start date of September 26, 2016 - three days after a September 23 Yahoo! News article by Michael Isikoff about Trump aide Carter Page, which used information fed to Isikoff by "pissgate" dossier creator Christopher Steele. The FBI would use the Yahoo! article along with the unverified "pissgate" dossier as supporting evidence in an FISA warrant application for Page. ...

Mark Levin: Hillary uranium scandal BIGGER than any of her other crimes and unethical behaviors


This really has been the particular case of the Clinton Cash that bothers me the most and that should bother voters the most. We now have a uranium company that is control of 20 percent of the uranium mining in North America—that’s owned by the Russians. This deal had to be approved by Hillary Clinton and it turns out that the stockholders in that company gave $145 million to Hillary Clinton’s foundation. I can’t imagine how she could be a part of the decision-making process while she received so much money in her foundation—$145 million...."

At CPAC, Mark Levin said Harry Reid is "running circles around the Republicans" because the GOP has "no principles, no strategy and no guts."





◼ Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Saturday, Levin dubbed Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) "one of the most despicable, dumbest men to ever be leader in the Senate,” but added that Reid is "running circles around the Republicans." - THE HILL

"That's what happens when you have no principles, no strategy and no guts," Levin said of Congressional Republicans. "It's time for a new Republican Party.”

"No more excuses. No more whining. No more lying to get you elected. No more crony deals with the U.S. Chamber of crony capitalism," Levin said, taking a political shot at the business community powerhouse U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

“Mr. President, Mr. President, there are tens of thousands of Anne Franks right now being brutalized. Why don't you do something about it?"

◼ Reading a passage from The Diary of Anne Frank – written by the Jewish girl who died in a Nazi labor camp -- author and talk-radio host Mark Levin said the Islamic State “genocide” in Syria and Iraq is particularly a war on “little girls and women,” and he called upon President Obama to do something about the “tens of thousands of Anne Franks right now being brutalized” by the Islamists. - CNS

Levin also stressed that Obama, like British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain who appeased the Nazis in the run-up to World War II, was “a patsy for Islamic terrorism” as Chamberlain “was a patsy for the Third Reich.”

“I want to just -- a couple of sentences from Anne Frank's diary because, you know, Sean, this is a war really on little girls and women,” said Levin. “That's what's taking place, the brutalization in front of our faces.”

...Earlier in the program, Hannity asked Levin about former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s comment from earlier in the week when he said, ‘I do not believe this president loves America.’

Asked for his reaction, Levin said, “Rudy's exactly right. And I would add -- and I've said this many years on my radio program -- when somebody says they want to fundamentally transform America, well, then you must not love America. It's like saying I'm going to fundamentally transform my wife, or my girlfriend. That means you must not love your wife or your girlfriend.”

“Obama has shown no indication that he loves the Constitution,” said Levin. “He never talks about capitalism. He's always bringing up the past. He's always picking at scabs. Even now, he's a patsy for Islamic terrorism! Half of his speeches are about how terrible America is and America shouldn't react in a negative way.” KEEP READING

Supreme Court: Mark Levin and Landmark Legal Foundation Submit Amicus Brief in Obamacare Subsidy Battle

◼ Conservative radio host and Landmark Legal Foundation President Mark Levin has submitted an amicus brief in support of the petitioners in King v. Burwell, the Obamacare legal case that will be heard by the Supreme Court on March 5, 2015. - Katie Pavlich/Townhall

The case addresses whether "the Internal Revenue Service may permissibly promulgate regulations to extend tax-credit subsidies to coverage purchased through exchanges established by the federal government under Section 1321 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act." Essentially, the case looks at whether federal subsidies are legal and available to people living in states that did not set up their own Obamacare exchanges.

"This is a case about first principles. The Executive Branch has not only exceeded the boundaries of the legislative power, but has done so in an effort to circumvent the principles of representative government to avoid securing the consent of the governed," the brief states. "The Constitution separates the powers of government to protect the liberty of the American people and prevent the tyranny of a self-aggrandizing government. Attempts by the Executive Branch to assume the legislative function deprives the People of an open debate conducted by their politically accountable representatives and is antithetical to the Constitution’s design."

"For the foregoing reasons, the regulations issued by the Executive Branch in the instant case were constitutionally invalid. The Fourth Circuit’s decision should be reversed and the legislative power restored to its properly limited exercise," the brief concludes. Read the Brief, at the link
