It’s as if the networks, having been happy to beam back staged “Pallywood” productions from the Palestinian media propaganda assembly line for years, decided to get in on the fun of staging domestic riots from top to bottom themselves
In 1988, when he was promoting the Bonfire of the Vanities, Tom Wolfe told PBS’s Bill Moyers, “a good bit of the book has to do with this curious phenomenon of how demonstrations, which are a great part of racial and ethnic politics, exist only for the media:”...
NBC, in the form of network spokesman Al Sharpton (let those last four words percolate for a few moments) simply took that strategy to its logical conclusion. Why shouldn’t their fellow Democrat operatives with bylines get in on the other half of the equation as well by coordinating with Wilson as well?

According to a local report, police in Ferguson, Missouri are not happy at all with the “DOJ representatives” from the Civil Rights Division who have poured into their town in the wake of the Michael Brown shooting.
The report reveals just how upset cops and their family members are at these butt-in-skis who have been in Ferguson for months, stirring the pot and making life more difficult for them. One officer’s wife is of the opinion that they are “not there to guide, they’re there to harm.”

It is not presidential to suggest sympathy for a given verdict before it has been delivered. Signaling solidarity to protesters – and potentially violent ones at that – to “stay the course” ahead of a verdict being rendered is not what the American people elect the President of the United States to do.
◼ Obama Met With Ferguson Activists – Said He’s Concerned They “Stay on Course” - Gateway Pundit
President Obama met with Ferguson protest leaders on November 5th, the day after the midterm elections. The meeting was not on his daily schedule. He was concerned that the protesters “stay on course.”◼ In Ferguson, Tactics Set for Grand Jury Decision in Michael Brown Case - New York Times
What does that mean?
And why is the president meeting with the violent Mike Brown protesters before a verdict is reached in the court case?
Some of the national leaders met with President Obama on Nov. 5 for a gathering that included a conversation about Ferguson.
According to the Rev. Al Sharpton, who has appeared frequently in St. Louis with the Brown family and delivered a speech at Mr. Brown’s funeral, Mr. Obama “was concerned about Ferguson staying on course in terms of pursuing what it was that he knew we were advocating. He said he hopes that we’re doing all we can to keep peace.”

DOJ Investigation of Ferguson Police: Fair and Impartial?
...Our review of the backgrounds and experience of the lawyers working in the Special Litigation Section, combined with my own experience working in the Civil Rights Division, convinced me that almost all the lawyers in the Section harbor an active hostility towards law enforcement. That makes it difficult to have confidence in the impartiality and objectiveness of any investigation the Special Litigation Section conducts in Ferguson.

Lawsuit seeking release of Michael Brown's juvenile records claims slain teen was a murder suspect
The citizen journalism website GotNews took St. Louis County authorities to court Wednesday to secure the release of the records because it believes they do not need to be kept private since he is no longer alive.
The unarmed Brown was fatally shot earlier this month by white Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. He has no criminal record as an adult, but only because he had recently turned 18, claims GotNews Editor-in-chief Charles Johnson.
The citizen journo wrote in a Wednesday afternoon post to his site and on Twitter that he was told by law enforcement sources the black teen has a juvenile arrest record that is being kept private....

Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke: Eric Holder Needs to Apologize to Cops
Milwaukee County sheriff David Clarke, who gained notoriety last year for encouraging gun ownership within his Wisconsin community, said Holder, Governor Jay Nixon, and Senator Claire McCaskill made the situation in Ferguson worse with their “irresponsible, inflammatory” comments about the city’s police force and its supposed problem with race relations. Clarke argued on Fox News on Friday that the trio was “insinuating that our law-enforcement officers across the United States engage in some nefarious or systematic and cultural attempts to violate people’s civil rights.”
“I thought that was a slap in the face to every law-enforcement officer in America who puts on the badge and the uniform everyday to go out and risk their lives in service to their community,” he said.
Clarke specifically called on Holder to either further explain himself or apologize to law enforcement for “adding hot sauce to this volatile situation.”
◼ ERIC HOLDER’S 'FAIR' INVESTIGATION IN FERGUSON? - by HANS VON SPAKOVSKY AND JOHN FUND/Breitbart
Attorney General Eric Holder travelled to Ferguson, Missouri, Wednesday to personally intervene in the investigation of the police shooting of Michael Brown, an unprecedented and highly questionable move. In a column published in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Holder claimed that the Justice Department would conduct an investigation that would be “fair” and “independent.” But given Holder’s biased views on race and the history of his tenure at DOJ that we outline in our new book, “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department,” we have serious doubts that his department can conduct an impartial investigation....
The unrest in Ferguson has obviously been triggered by unproven – and increasingly unlikely, given the emerging evidence – allegations that Brown was targeted by Officer Darren Wilson because of his race. Brown is not only a suspect in the robbery of a convenience store, but Wilson was apparently severely injured in the struggle with Brown. The notion that Wilson deliberately targeted Brown, let alone used vastly excessive force in the interaction, seems a bit dubious at this point. Still, Holder has dispatched a team of lawyers from the Criminal Section to supervise over 40 FBI agents sent to Ferguson to investigate this tragic situation. The attorneys “deployed to lead this process,” says Holder, are the “Civil Rights Division’s most experienced prosecutors.”
What Holder did not say is that it is these “experienced prosecutors” in the Criminal Section who he is so “proud of,” along with lawyers in the U.S. Attorneys’ office in New Orleans, who were accused last year by a federal judge in Louisiana of “grotesque prosecutorial abuse.”
...Frankly, the Justice Department should step back and allow state and local officials to investigate what happened. There is no evidence that these local officials are not conducting a competent, objective investigation. And given the biases and checkered history of the Attorney General and the Civil Rights Division, as well as the complete politicization of DOJ by Holder, we can have no confidence in the credibility of an investigation by his Department.
Tragedy is the mother of poisonous pretension.

◼ TheDC's Jim Antle says that Ferguson isn't completely Black and White...but rather it has shades of gray - Daily Caller
...Just as one can simultaneously deplore rioting and looting while also criticizing a militarized police department for treating an outraged black community as an alien population to be occupied and pacified rather than American citizens who are to be protected and served.
Here is the blunt truth: virtually nobody knows what happened between Officer Darren Wilson and Michael Brown on that tragic day. Even after the investigation is over, we probably never will know all the facts.
Most people are reacting to what happened in Ferguson based on their own personal experiences, not the facts of this particular case....

Obama wants Ferguson to explode
If you had said that, in the face of a sudden racial crisis, the president — portrayed as black throughout the campaign — would be impotent, neutered, unable to speak powerfully about the situation, they would have scoffed incredulously. Who are “they”? Everyone. If you had expressed those fears out loud in the run-up to his historic 2008 election, everyone within earshot would have mocked you mercilessly....
While he didn’t say the teenager could have been his son, or that police had acted stupidly, he also did not tell those in Ferguson to stand down, to just stop. While he didn’t call the moment “teachable,” he also didn’t say that the rule of law supersedes all, that everyone should step back, stop the violence, and look to the courts to resolve the matter.
And there’s a simple reason: Mr. Obama will never “let a good crisis go to waste.” Americans are being beheaded in Iraq, the Middle East is on fire, Vladimir Putin is one-upping the president left and right. The president needs an issue, something divisive, something that fits his strategy of pitting American against American, class against class, and as always, race against race.
This is Mr. Obama’s darkest hour. And he’s on the golf course on Martha’s Vineyard, playing the whitest of sports — golf — hoping the whole thing explodes.
He just might get his wish.

Meet the Radical DOJ Unit Investigating Ferguson Shooting
PJ Media had to sue Eric Holder to obtain the resumes of the lawyers he hired to populate this unit. No wonder. The “Every Single One” series at PJ Media revealed that all of Holder’s attorney hires were leftists, some even with a history of anti-police activities. ◼ Read the detailed biographies of the lawyers here.
Why does it matter that the DOJ unit that will investigate the Ferguson police is stacked with leftists and ideologues? Because anti-police biases of lawyers in this unit have resulted in gross prosecutorial misconduct against police officers.
United States District Judge Kurt Engelhardt issued this blistering 129-page opinion documenting prosecutorial misconduct by DOJ lawyers seeking to convict New Orleans police officers of civil rights violations.
...As Holder moves forward in Ferguson, keep the documented misconduct of his lawyers in mind.
Most Americans say that things would be different in Ferguson, Mo., if the racial roles had been reversed.
A majority, 54 percent, agree the media would have reported the death of Michael Brown differently according to the color of his skin. Regardless of race—white, black and other minority adults—most believe the shooting would garner less media attention.◼ How Would the Media React If the Cop Was Black and the Victim Was White? - Rasmussen
Most Americans think the media would be less interested in the incident in Ferguson, Missouri if a white teenager had been shot by a black police officer. They also reject the idea that most policemen are racist.

FERGUSON UPDATE: 31 ARRESTS, TWO SHOOTINGS, POLICE COME UNDER ‘HEAVY GUNFIRE’
Many of the agitators are said to come from outside Ferguson. Some of them have press credentials:
Late Monday, reporters estimated that the number of protesters had dropped to around 100, far fewer than the number of media members who were covering them....
One of the problems faced by Captain Johnson and his officers is that Media has decided the story is all about her now. It’s a passion play for reporters who want to become the next martyrs to “police harassment” so they can write about themselves as heroes of free speech battling the oppressive police. There’s something bitterly comical, but entirely predictable, about a violent protest where the reporters outnumber the protesters. Media really wants to keep this story going, because readers are gobbling it up, and she loves the attention… just as the agitators crave the attention she gives them. Everyone with a grievance is making a beeline for the spotlight. A weakness in the fabric of society inevitably draws those who would unravel it, or draw profit through its rips and tears....
One commentator who is resolutely unwilling to surf on that tide of Narrative is Jason Riley of the Wall Street Journal. “I don’t want to litigate this in the press,” he said on Meet the Press last Sunday, “but at the same time, let’s not pretend that our morgues and cemeteries are full of young black men because cops are shooting them. The reality is that it’s because other black people are shooting them. And we need to talk about black criminality.”
Update: Gateway Pundit is reporting from multiple sources, in both the St. Louis County Police and District Attorney’s office, that officer Darren Wilson’s injuries – a matter of established fact from Day One, but almost completely ignored by the architects of mythology – included an “orbital blowout fracture to the eye socket.” That detail won’t do much to hold back the Narrative, of course.

◼ Why is the National Guard even in #Ferguson? We're clearing it up for you. - Daily Signal
The decision by Gov. Jay Nixon, D-Mo., to deploy the National Guard to the troubled community of Ferguson has raised a lot of questions about these citizen soldier units. After serving with distinction numerous times in both Iraq and Afghanistan, units of the National Guard are well thought of as military fighting men. Can they also be helpful in situations like Ferguson? Here is some information to help increase understanding of these direct lineal descendants of the Minute Men....
Q: Is the National Guard the right solution for maintaining control in Ferguson?
A: Only time will tell. The governor chose to remove the authority for policing the streets of Ferguson from local law enforcement. He first tried to use his state police. They also failed to deal with the situation adequately, and disorder continued. His next option was to call out and deploy the Guard. The entire nation hopes that this will work, the situation will begin to defuse itself and order will return to the suburbs of St. Louis.
◼ Uh oh: Witnesses corroborate cop's version of events. St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter tweets about this. Suddenly the reporter is "on leave" because the paper didn't like her tweets? This looks bad. - Herman Cain
Rioting continues. Holder takes over.
Holder’s visit was announced as National Guard troops arrived to back up local and state police. On Monday night in Ferguson, an early evening calm gave way to new confrontations as some demonstrators threw bottles at heavily armed police and officers threw stun grenades and tear gas towards them.
The day was expected to be a crucial test for everybody in charge here, from local police commanders to Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon (D) — who had called out the National Guard after chaotic protests Sunday — to President Obama himself. Obama’s decision to dispatch his attorney general was an admission that the teenager’s killing had become a symbol of something enormous: a test of the American justice system and the government’s ability to police the officers who police everyone else.
