Gang of 8: IMMIGRATION BILL

By this time I am sure you all know about the Immigration bill in the Senate put together by the Gang of 8. In my opinion, this bill personifies what is the matter in Washington. This bill is now 1000 pages. Bills that long give lawmakers the opportunity to put everything into the legislation including the kitchen sink. (Remember Obamacare).

In my opinion, there should be one separate bill that comes before all others. That is a bill dealing with border security. After that is resolved, then bills should deal with how we deal with illegal immigrants who have lived here. It is helpful to remember that not just Hispanics are covered by the proposed law. There are numerous Orientals and people from the Middle East who are also here illegally and would of course be covered by the new law.

Let our Senators know what you think about this legislation. People supporting Amnesty are making numerous calls.
