Clinton Donor & Obama Entrepreneurship Ambassador Charged With Massive Fraud

Elizabeth Holmes — the Silicon Valley wunderkind whose blood-testing startup Theranos has collapsed in a slew of scandals — has been charged with “massive fraud” by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The SEC on Wednesday accused Theranos CEO Holmes and a top lieutenant of defrauding investors of more than $700 million through false claims about its technology.

Holmes — a Steve Jobs wannabe who dressed exclusively in black turtlenecks as she talked up her blood-testing unicorn, which at one point boasted a valuation north of $9 billion — settled with the regulators for $500,000 while neither admitting nor denying the accusations....

The disgraced CEO also misled employees about its institutional backing, according to the charges. Theranos distributed pitch books to investors containing articles purportedly written by other pharmaceutical executives — lending the startup institutional clout —but were in fact written by company employees, according to the charges....

The SEC claims that Holmes misled investors about her technology, which Theranos said was able to test for diseases with only a pinprick, and more cheaply than what was commercially available, according to the SEC settlement.

In reality, the company didn’t have any reliable technology to test blood samples, and sent blood to third-party companies for testing, according to the complaint....

Haitians accuse Hillary and Bill Clinton of defrauding the country of earthquake relief funds.

Haitians at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia are trying to bring attention to Haiti, where Bill and Hillary Clinton are accused of defrauding the country of billions in earthquake relief money and destabilizing the nation’s economy and state institutions.

Mainstream media has moreover tried to ignore this most significant part of the Clintons’ background....

When the 2010 earthquake hit Haiti, former U.S. President Bill Clinton and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton exacerbated the devastation to their own benefit. In the end, billions of dollars donated by individuals from countries all around the world, weeks upon weeks of top story attention on any and every news agency around the world, left Haitians not just where they began, but in worse circumstances....

By all accounts, the money and what it was meant to do never really reached the Haitian people. While the Clinton Foundation only puts 10% of its donations towards charity, the IHRC was a real racket for Clinton pals, 1% went towards Haitian groups and agencies on the ground. All that is transparent is that the money didn’t go to Haiti, beyond that the trail goes cold.
The money for earthquake relief was funneled massively to friends of the Clintons, who so happen to be donors to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation and Hillary’s 2016 presidential campaign.

It was a major kickback scheme. Even the projects that were expected of the Clinton cronies didn’t match up to their billing and barely endured a year. The State Department Inspector General would release a scathing report of waste, poor oversight, to a degree all but criminal. New York Times best-seller Clinton Cash highlights much of these entanglements and conflicts of interests.

“It created a very uncomfortable environment for us—some of the class even got up part of the way through and left because they were uncomfortable,” the girl said.

White House Poet Taught Kids to Sit in Circles and Watch Porn for College Class - Washington Free Beacon

A University of Pennsylvania English course taught by a poet who performed for President Obama at the White House ended up exactly as the professor envisioned it: college kids watching porn.

“Wasting Time on the Internet,” a once-a-week creative writing course taught by Kenneth Goldsmith that required students to stare at a computer screen for three hours completed its first class this spring.

Goldsmith wrote last fall that students could use the three hours to watch porn, and then “use it as the basis for compelling erotica.”

“I’ve never taught this class before, but I have a hunch that it’s going to be a success,” he said....

The course cost approximately $3,202.

Meanwhile, cancer patients got boxes of sample-size soap, seasonal greeting cards, and Little Debbie snack cakes.

FOUR CANCER CHARITIES ACCUSED OF POCKETING $187 MILLION - William Bigelow/Breitbart

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has joined attorneys general in every state in accusing four cancer charities, run by extended members of the same family, of lying to donors, collecting $187 million from 2008 through 2012, while spending only 3% of the total on helping actual cancer patients. The four charities are the Cancer Fund of America, the Breast Cancer Society, the Children’s Cancer Fund of America, and Cancer Support Services.

The family’s positions are as follows: the Cancer Fund of America is run by James Reynolds, Sr., who is also the CEO of Cancer Support Services; the Breast Cancer Society’s CEO is his son, James Reynolds, Jr.; and the Children’s Cancer Fund of America is run by Rose Perkins, the ex-wife of James Reynolds, Sr.

The charities asserted that they spent 100% of donations on services such as hospice care, pain meds for children, and transportation for patients undergoing chemotherapy. The government flatly states, “These were lies,” according to CNN. Jessica Rich, chief of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, said that the remaining 97% of funds donated to the charities were spent on private fundraisers or on the Reynolds family. Meanwhile, cancer patients got boxes of sample-size soap, seasonal greeting cards, and Little Debbie snack cakes.

...The Breast Cancer Society and the Children’s Cancer Fund of America are in the process of closing. James Reynolds, Jr., was hit with over $60 million in fines, although once he pays $75,000, the judgment against him will be suspended, and Perkins was hit with charges of $30 million, but because she cannot pay the sum, the judgment will be suspended.

Here's how inspectors found $43b Washington could save

Taxpayers could save as much as $43 billion if officials running the biggest federal departments would do what their internal watchdogs recommended in 2014. - Washington Examiner

That $43 billion would be about $27 returned for every dollar invested in the work of 14 of the 15 inspectors general overseeing White House cabinet-level departments. Together, the budgets of the 14 IGs amount to more than $1.6 billion, according to their semiannual reports to Congress.
