Why Didn't Hillary Report That She Had Received The Debate Questions In Advance?

The Nuclear Option — Wikileaks Reveals Even Hillary’s Own Staff Knows Truth: She’s Psychotic

Never apologize. Never admit. And always keep lying.

That is the very heart of the ethos of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Lie about everything. Lie all the time.

Lie about emails. Lie about servers. Lie about national security. Lie about who knew what when. Lie about spilling classified secrets. Lie about dead soldiers.

Exhaust the people with lies. And then, very flippantly, after months or years of lying, say whatever you have to say to make the press go away.

“I am sorry you were confused.”

“I have already said I wish I had done it differently.”

“What difference, at this point, does it make?”

It is all so shameless and dirty and befuddling that it would make Niccolo Machiavelli blush.

How do you respond?

When people tell me that it doesn’t matter whether they vote for Her Clintoness or the Trumpster because both are equally corrupt, I check my frustration and instead ask them a few questions. First: would you rather entrust your nation’s future to someone who raked in millions of dollars doing illegal favors for foreign governments while holding one of the highest offices in the land, or to someone who calls Rosie O’Donnell a pig?

Then – who is more qualified: the Democratic nominee who knowingly endangers America’s security by using an illegal basement server to hide her guilty trail of Benghazi and Clinton Foundation emails, versus the presumptive Republican nominee who has filed two or three legal bankruptcies in nearly a half century of largely successful business dealings?

Also: would you choose as commander in chief a woman who coldly lies to the grieving parents of four dead Americans as their coffins are unloaded behind her or a guy who ridicules his rivals on a debate stage?

And you must choose one, because one will be the president of the United States, the most powerful person on the planet. You may notice something about the examples here and many others I could cite. They illustrate a certain hierarchy of the horrible, and that is this: Hillary Clinton has committed crimes against the very nation she pretends to serve. Donald Trump’s “crimes” are mostly boorish infringements of good taste or taking savvy advantage of existing law.... More at the link

The Obamacare program that is stealing $3.5 billion from you to subsidize insurance co's

If I told you our healthcare system was broken, you probably would not be surprised. If I told you Obamacare has limited your healthcare options or driven up healthcare costs, you would not be surprised. If I told you that 16 of the 23 Obamacare co-ops have failed, disrupting insurance for over 800,000 consumers, you would likely have the same reaction. But what if I told you that to prop up President Obama's failing healthcare law, federal bureaucrats were stealing $3.5 billion from you and giving it instead to insurance companies? Well, it's happening.

To mitigate the high costs of Obamacare's mandates, the bill created three programs, one of which was the Transitional Reinsurance Program. The three-year reinsurance program required the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to collect $25 billion from insurers. Of this, the law mandated that HHS send $5 billion directly to the U.S. Treasury to pay down Obamacare's costs on the American people: $2 billion in 2014, $2 billion in 2015, and $1 billion in 2016. The other $20 billion was to be paid back to insurers for covering patients in the exchanges.

So naturally, the Obama administration followed the law they wrote and forced on Americans, and, in the end, the Treasury received all of the funds it was supposed to, right? Of course not. Despite $4 billion already being due, the Treasury has only received $500 million. Instead, the money required by law to be paid to the Treasury alone is now being sent to well-connected insurance companies, increasing the financial burden of Obamacare on the American people and protecting a failing healthcare experiment. This is a clear violation of the law — a law that this administration wrote itself....

Another lie: 'Clinton Failed to Hand Over Key Email to State Department

Former Secretary Hillary Clinton failed to turn over a copy of a key message involving problems caused by her use of a private homebrew email server, the State Department confirmed Thursday. The disclosure makes it unclear what other work-related emails may have been deleted by the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

The email was included within messages exchanged Nov. 13, 2010, between Clinton and one of her closest aides, Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin. At the time, emails sent from Clinton's BlackBerry device and routed through her private clintonemail.com server in the basement of her New York home were being blocked by the State Department's spam filter. A suggested remedy was for Clinton to obtain a state.gov email account.

"Let's get separate address or device but I don't want any risk of the personal being accessible," Clinton responded to Abedin.

Clinton never used a government account that was set up for her, instead continuing to rely on her private server until leaving office....

The email was not among the tens of thousands of emails Clinton turned over to the agency in response to public records lawsuits seeking copies of her official correspondence. Abedin provided a copy from her own inbox after the State Department asked her to return any work-related emails. That copy of the email was publicly cited last month in a blistering audit by the State Department's inspector general that concluded Clinton and her team ignored clear internal guidance that her email setup violated federal standards and could have left sensitive material vulnerable to hackers.

"While this exchange was not part of the approximately 55,000 pages provided to the State Department by former Secretary Clinton, the exchange was included within the set of documents Ms. Abedin provided the department in response to our March 2015 request..."

The Obama administration siphoned $500 million that could have gone toward combating the Zika virus into a U.N. effort aimed at mitigating climate change.

Sen. James Lankford (R., Okla.) wrote in an op-ed published in the Daily Signal that the Senate last year granted Obama the authority to pay for a response to Zika, but his administration chose instead to allocate those funds toward the U.N.’s Green Climate Fund.

Lankford wrote:
Congress last December provided the Obama administration with authority to pull money from bilateral economic assistance to foreign countries. They can use those funds to combat infectious diseases, if the administration believed there is an infectious disease emergency. In the middle of the Zika epidemic, the administration did use their authority to pull money from foreign aid and spend it, but they didn’t use it for Zika. … In March, President Obama gave the United Nations $500 million out of an account under bilateral economic assistance to fund the U.N.’s Green Climate Fund. Congress refused to allocate funding for the U.N. Climate Change Fund last year, so the president used this account designated for international infectious diseases to pay for his priority.

(Democrats making crime legal.) California ballot measure blamed for shoplifting jump

Perry Lutz says his struggle to survive as a small businessman became a lot harder after California voters reduced theft penalties 1½ years ago.

About a half-dozen times this year, shoplifters have stolen expensive drones or another of the remote-controlled toys he sells in HobbyTown USA, a small shop in Rocklin, northeast of Sacramento. "It's just pretty much open season," Lutz said. "They'll pick the $800 unit and just grab it and run out the door."

Anything below $950 keeps the crime a misdemeanor — and likely means the thieves face no pursuit and no punishment, say retailers and law enforcement officials. Large retailers including Safeway, Target, Rite Aid and CVS pharmacies say shoplifting increased at least 15 percent, and in some cases, doubled since voters approved Proposition 47 and ended the possibility of charging shoplifting as a felony with the potential for a prison sentence.

Shoplifting reports to the Los Angeles Police Department jumped by a quarter in the first year, according to statistics the department compiled for The Associated Press. The ballot measure also lowered penalties for forgery, fraud, petty theft and drug possession.

Public Policy Institute of California researcher Magnus Lofstrom noted a troubling increase in property crime inCalifornia's largest cities in the first half-year after Proposition 47 took effect. Preliminary FBI crime reports show a 12 percent jump in larceny-theft, which includes shoplifting, but he said it is too early to determine what, if any, increase is due to the ballot measure.

Hillary Clinton's week just went from bad to worse

Losing New Hampshire by 22 points to an avowed socialist was bad enough for Hillary Clinton. But then came the news — first reported by WaPo — that the State Department had opened a inquiry regarding the activities of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation during her time time as secretary of state. And bad went to way, way worse.

...at some point Clinton will need to directly face down the fact that it's not just Republicans who are talking about her emails or her paid speeches or the Clinton Foundation. The numbers coming out of the New Hampshire exit poll make plain that Democratic voters care about honesty in their politicians, and those that prize it the most are voting heavily against Clinton.

The politicians in Sacramento are preparing to have a special meeting to raise gas taxes.

7 Key Measures of California’s Transportation Challenges - Fox&Hounds via Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association

The politicians in Sacramento are preparing to have a special meeting to raise gas taxes. (AGAIN!) They claim the high gas taxes Californians already pay aren't enough but they aren't telling you that out of $10 billion dedicated to "transportation" only $2 billion go to roads.

Lying is insidious. When it becomes institutionalized at the top, cynicism and lawlessness follow below

Lying, Inc. - Victor Davis Hanson/PJM

Tom Brady... Gen. David Petraeus... Brian Williams... "Hands Up Don't Shoot".. Al Sharpton... Hillary Clinton, to be candid, is a habitual fabulist. She entered public life lying about everything from her 1-1000 cattle futures con to the location of her law firm’s subpoenaed legal documents. Recently she has been unable to tell the truth in any context whatsoever. She will lie about big and small, trivial and fundamental, from the immigrant myths about her grandparents to the origins of her own name Hillary to her combat exposure in the Balkans. The subtext of “what difference does it make” was something like: “Even if you find out that I lied about the run-up to and follow up on the Benghazi killings, it won’t matter in the least to my career.” She was right, of course, in her assumption that lying had career utility and brought more pluses than negatives, as her current presidential campaign attests.

Her press conference on the disappearing emails was unique in American political history in that everything Ms. Clinton said was, without exception, a demonstrable untruth. It is not that no one believes her, but rather than no one can possibly believe her when she insisted that she would have needed multiple devices for multiple email accounts, or that public officials routinely alone adjudicate what is and is not public and private communications, or that other cabinet officers apparently created, as she did, exclusively private email accounts — and servers — for public business or that security personnel on the premises protect the airwaves from hackers. Even her own supporters know that she lied, and trust that it likely will not hamper her presidential run.

...President Obama’s approval ratings seem to have gone up almost in direct proportion to the degree he has lied. On over twenty occasions in reelection scenarios, Obama lied in stating that he would not issue blanket amnesties and order non-enforcement of current immigration law given that it would be unconstitutional and unlawful to do so. We accept at the time that such assurances were about as truthful as his convenient opposition to gay marriage — rhetorical constructs that warp and weave according to the realities of the next election. Who objects when Obama’s lying is felt to be for the higher cause of equality of result?

...When elites customarily lie without much consequence, the public follows their examples. KEEP READING

The Hillary campaign is like a movie you decide halfway through that you didn’t really want to see in the first place.

Frankenhillary - Daniel Halper/Weekly Standard

As Clinton scandals continue to mount and her credibility plummets, gleeful Republicans are quietly discussing what once seemed impossible: Hillary Clinton might not survive primary season, let alone make it all the way to Pennsylvania Avenue....

As a candidate, she is the Democrats’ Frankenstein creature—a patched-together amalgam of all the worst traits of recent presidential campaigns and virtually none of their more winning attributes. Examples abound.

John Kerry’s flip-flopping....
Barack Obama’s arrogance....
Mitt Romney’s wealth....
Joe Biden’s gaffes....
Al Gore’s personality....
Richard Nixon’s paranoia and tactics.... Keep READING
