Democrat Strategist to Clients: Don’t Run in 2012

Democrats are being dragged down so far by President Barack Obama’s unpopularity that promising young candidates are planning to skip the 2012 elections completely, according to party insiders. - Newsmax

One strategist admitted his advice is wait until at least 2014 before entering the fray, because he doesn’t want them to be put off politics for life by being heavily defeated next year, according to The Hill.

“I’m warning my clients – ‘Don’t run in 2012.’ I don’t want to see good candidates lose by 12 to 15 points because of the president,” said the unidentified strategist.
