THE VETTING: BELL'S CRITICAL RACE THEORY PROMOTED IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

◼ A radical organization known as the Pacific Educational Group (PEG) is actively promoting Derrick Bell’s Critical Race Theory in public elementary and high schools nationwide, with an intense focus on what PEG calls “Systemic Racism.” - Kyle Olson/Breitbart's Big Government

With the approval of the Obama administration, and under the guise of closing achievement gaps between black and white students, PEG is promoting teaching methods that discourage “black and brown” students from conforming to an inherently “white” -- and therefore racist -- curriculum.
PEG also encourages teachers to conform to the presumed cultural backgrounds of students, rather than focusing on norms of assessment and accountability....

PEG has triggered local opposition, and occasional alarm. As long ago as 2007, organizations such as the Competitive Enterprise Institute have dismissed Singleton, saying he has “become a rich man by preaching racism, hate, and scapegoating” (original links):

Previously, Singleton embarrassed the Seattle Schools. In 2002, they hired him to indoctrinate their students and staff about racism. As a result, they redefined racism consistent with Singleton’s extreme and radical beliefs. The Seattle Schools defined “individualism” as a form of “cultural racism,” said that only whites can be racist, and claimed that planning ahead (“future time orientation”) is a white characteristic that it is racist to expect minorities to exhibit.

Regardless of widespread criticism and a controversial history, Singleton’s PEG continues to expand into new public schools, soaking up more tax dollars.... More, at the link.

The verdict is in: The mainstream media believes that Derrick Bell is not a story. They believe it so deeply that they've had members of the Breitbart.com team on national television repeatedly; they've spent thousands of words covering it; and they've mentioned it on radio and the Internet incessantly. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama's incendiary Chicago pastor, admired radical Harvard Law School professor Derrick Bell, inviting him to speak at Trinity United Church of Christ and referring to him from the pulpit.

In one sermon, which Wright published in 1995 in a collection entitled Africans Who Shaped Our Faith: A Study of 10 Biblical Personalities, Wright referred specifically to Bell's protest against Harvard--the same protest that Obama supported in a video released by Breitbart.com last week.

The sermon repeats the main doctrine of Bell's Critical Race Theory--that the United States was founded on racism, and that America remains irredeemably racist. Wright also attacked "Jewish lawyers," comparing the Jews of Jesus's time to "Klansmen" and describing Jesus as a racial provocateur...

In 2008, Obama claimed that he had never heard Wright use anti-American or racist rhetoric from the pulpit. Yet this radical, antisemitic sermon--among others--was in print, and likely available from the church, while Obama sat in the pews. He could not have missed it, nor pretended not to know about Wright's views.

Bias: We were wrong. The media elite did in fact vet this president, but they covered up what they found. And now that citizen journalists are digging it up, they're trying to rebury it.

◼ The Harvard Hug: What Else Are Media Hiding? - IBC

Exhibit A is the controversial video of Barack Obama praising and hugging radical Harvard law professor Derrick Bell. The media knew it existed four years ago and conspired with academia to hide it to get Obama elected.

"We hid this during the 2008 campaign," confessed Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree. PBS had it then, but cut both the audio and the hug in a report on Obama's Harvard days. The footage served as wallpaper. Now that Breitbart.com has put the entire video online, the major media have gone into damage-control mode for Obama.

PBS claims, disingenuously, "there's nothing new about the clip." NBC's Andrea Mitchell misled viewers by claiming Bell was "not a radical firebrand" but a "distinguished professor."

...They knew what he was about. Anybody who has read Bell's works knows he's militantly anti-white and anti-America. He didn't try to hide that, unlike his fans in the media today.

Bell was too radical even for Harvard, which sacked him, but not too radical for our president, who embraced him as a 30-year-old law student. And who then went on to indoctrinate his own law students in Bell's hate when he was a University of Chicago professor....

Relevance today? Obama's close relationship with Bell fits a pattern of radical associations that have carried over into his administration. Before dying, his old professor visited the White House at least twice, records show. And Bell's ideas show up in Justice Department policy, where black-on-white hate crimes and black intimidation of white voters are not prosecuted.

It looks as though editors are arguing about whether or not to even mention Obama's affiliation with Bell, despite evidence showing that the two were closely connected. It also looks like the page was set as "protected" at one point to avoid controversy. In other words, it’s pretty much what you’d expect if someone was dumb enough to give a Harvard Law critical race theorist a camera.

It’s great because it gives a clear picture of what the guy our President figuratively and literally embraces really believed about his country – something the mainstream media refused to explore, and which it continues to conceal.

...So, "Space Traders" perfectly captures the stupidity, paranoia, and shameless race-hustling of the people that Obama embraces. This is the idiocy that Obama believes we should open up [our] hearts and our minds to. Pass.
