President's Message

I can’t believe that my first year as CFRW President is almost over. This has been a very inspiring year for me. I have had the opportunity to visit many of our wonderful clubs and I have had the privilege to meet so many of our hard working members. I am so proud of all the excellent work our members are doing from registering voters, supporting candidates, managing victory offices, getting our message to the voters and helping out in our communities. We can get our Republican message out in so many ways!

So many of our clubs work on projects for our military and our veterans, we can never do enough for them. Republican women are most passionate about our patriotism, love of country, our flag, and supporting our military and veterans. I am especially so thankful for our CFRW members and clubs who have opened up their hearts to support our State CFRW project The All Terrain Track Chair Project. This project allows us to thank an injured veteran and help him regain his independence and return to an autonomous life. By joining together in our support for this project California women have the opportunity to prove that women working together as a team for a common purpose can make a difference. I am so proud that working together we have reached our first goal and we will purchase our first chair. We also have 25% of the funds we need to purchase a second chair in 2015. We are very happy to announce that we will have a Presentation for the Track Chair Project at our Winter Conference in Modesto. We can not thank all of you enough for your support and your incredible generosity.

It has been a thrill to visit clubs, attend Division Conferences and meet members from across California. I have enjoyed seeing so many different areas of our beautiful state from East Valley and San Gorgonio Pass, to Orange County and Ventura County, from Visalia, Porterville and Fresno, San Luis Obispo and Atascadero, to Temecula Valley, Pasadena and Monterey Peninsula. Our clubs have the most passionate and outstanding women helping to get our Republican message out to their communities.
It has been a privilege to represent you as California State President at the Spring & Fall NFRW Board of Directors meetings. We are the largest State Federation and I am always so happy to share with other State Presidents all the great work our CFRW clubs are doing. It is always gratifying to receive positive comments from our members at CFRW Board of Directors meetings/Conferences. I had the opportunity to visit the State Capitol in the Spring with our Advocate, Allison Olson, and I had the privilege to meet so many of our Republican legislators. We will be going back in February to meet more of our newly elected legislators.

It is truly an honor to serve as your CFRW President. This has been such an exciting year and I have memories that will last forever. Best of all are the many friendships I have made that will last a lifetime. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as you CFRW President. I look forward to a very rewarding and active 2015, hosting informative Board of Director Meetings /Conferences,visiting more of our clubs and working together with our members to make CFRW an even stronger organization. In 2015 we will be working hard on increasing our membership, and engaging all Republican women so we can ensure that CFRW represents the great diversity that is California. The more members we have the more we can do to help turn California into a Red State. The 2014 election provided us with many positive successes and we need to keep up that momentum because 2016 is just around the corner and we will do even better next time! When Republican women work together there is no stopping us!

God Bless America!

Thank you for all you do,
Roseann
