CFRW: Advocacy Success!

Our 37th Annual California Federation of Republican Women Advocacy Workshop was a success! Thank you to all those women who helped make it possible, especially Advocacy Co-chairs Karen Atteberry and Roseann Slonskey-Breault and CFRW President Carol Hadley. A special thanks to our featured speakers, especially National Federation of Republican Women President Rae Lynn Chornenky for making the trip all the way to Sacramento! We want to hear what YOU thought of the event. Please fill out your evaluation sheets that were provided in your Advocacy folder and send them in ASAP! A quick email is also appreciated. If members could also contact students for the student evaluation sheets, that would be great! Please send evaluations to:

A Message from the CFRW President

Dear CFRW Members,

Karen Atteberry and Roseann Slonsky-Breault, thank you for a fantastic Advocacy.

Our attendance at Advocacy this year was sparse compared to past years. Thank you to those who attended our 37th Advocacy this week. The response has been outstanding not only from the members, but from students. Many students who have been to Advocacy in the past stated this was the most outstanding. Thank you Allison Olson and your committee for educating our students on how to run a campaign.

Our speakers touched on subjects important for this coming election. Look for us on "You Tube".

We hope for those able to attend, you will put this important meeting on your calendars for next year. We will be at the Sheraton in 2013 and have discussed future Advocacies in other parts of the state.

We only have less than 2 months to prepare for our first "Open Primary Election". We need to make sure we are strongly working for Republican candidates to make it on the ballot. Remember the top 2 candidates with the most votes move onto the General Election in November. If we each work hard to get five committed voters for our Republican candidates we will start to make a change in the State Legislature. We CANNOT let the Dems get a Super Majority in the Senate.

We no longer set the table or clean the table. WE ARE AT THE TABLE.

You are the best of the best.
Carol Hadley
CFRW President
