Benghazi questions

On Wednesday, three whistleblowers will testify before the House Oversight Committee on the Benghazi scandal. We’ll know how bad it is for the administration and for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton when we get answers to these questions - Jennifer Rubin/Washington Post

The fast-tracking of Nakoula’s jailing was highly irregular. Among other things, I’d like to see the Congressional investigators get Nakoula’s prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Dugdale — and perhaps his boss, U.S. Attorney AndrĂ© Birotte Jr. — under oath about communications from the White House or the Justice Department regarding this case. - PJM

Because what it’s looking like is that Nakoula was targeted and jailed so as to provide a scapegoat/villain in a politically motivated cover story that the White House knew was false. If that’s the case, it’s extremely serious indeed, and in some ways more significant than whatever lapses and screwups took place in Benghazi. I’d also be interested in hearing from Nakoula’s attorney, Steven Seiden, about any threats made by the government to secure a plea deal.

It always matters when an administration tries to conceal the truth from the American people. And it matters if those responsible are still in positions of authority.

SALON: BENGHAZI 'BIG SCANDAL,' WHISTLEBLOWERS 'CREDIBLE' - John Nolte/Breitbart

You can bet the farm that right now the media are looking at the results of the bombshell report Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News just dropped and are already coordinating a way to downplay, ignore, or discredit what looks to be a very serious White House scandal that almost certainly involves a cover up.

To its credit, the left-wing Salon is choosing not to downplay what this could all potentially mean for the Obama White House... ◼ Via Lucianne
