AP boss: Our sources now ‘fear they will be monitored by the government’

The Justice Department’s secretive snooping on AP reporters was not just a personal violation of privacy, but in fact a threat to their ability to do their jobs and a threat to everyone’s ability to report on the Obama administration. - David Freddoso/ConservativeIntel.com

Gary Pruitt, AP’s CEO confirmed on CBS Face the Nation Sunday that in fact, his organization is already finding government sources are more reluctant to talk to them now because of what happened....

Pruitt also didn’t rule out the idea that the seizures were an act of revenge. This stole some thunder from the White House, which wanted to draw attention at an event crowing about the victory the following day.
