Humboldt State University axes nursing program
Humboldt State University's nursing program will soon be a thing of the past.
In a campuswide e-mail sent out Wednesday morning, HSU President Rollin Richmond announced his decision to discontinue the Bachelor of Science nursing program, but assured that the university would see currently enrolled students through to graduation. Richmond also said the university recognizes the need for baccalaureate-level nurses locally and said HSU will work toward partnering with California State Universities and community colleges to provide a local BSN option....
