President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden managed to hold six fundraisers on Thursday, collecting several million dollars for Democrats’ 2012 campaigns. At each fundraiser the president, the first lady and the vice president all portrayed Obama as a heroic defender of middle-class America beset by heartless Republicans.
